It can be difficult to decide which foods are good for you and which are not. The key is actually moderation. However, here are a list of foods that are not as healthy as you think they are:
1, Vegetable Oils:
Don’t be fooled by the fact that there’s “vegetable” in the name. Unfortunately, most vegetable oils are made from palm oil which is almost purely saturated (unhealthy) oil. It’s semi-solid at room temperature, but is of course liquid when heated and used for frying, and it’s certainly not healthy..

The men being held at the illegal Guantanamo terror prison have been in literal limbo for over 12 years. The fact that they are Muslim and kept offshore makes them an abstraction for the American people, who along with the media have forgotten about their plight. More than half of the illegally detained inmates have been deemed completely innocent, but U.S. President Obama, despite his endless “nice words” has refused to release them.

The people at Guantanamo have reached such a level of hopelessness that almost all of them have decided to end their own lives by doing the only thing they can; stop eating. Obama has decided once again to break the law and force-feed them. Michael Ratner, the U.S. lawyer for Julian Assange and the lawyer for many of the inmates at Guantanamo, spoke to John Robles on the matter.

I’m speaking with Mr. Michael Ratner, the President Emeritus of the Center for Constitutional Rights and the US lawyer for Julian Assange. The Center for Constitutional Rights also represents several of the inmates at the Guantanamo detention camp.

Appalling state of electricity supply

LONG-SUFFERING Nigerians, who may have been coaxed into believing that a significant improvement in power supply levels awaits them this year, cannot but be dismayed at the persistently poor output of the Power Holding Company of Nigeria. In spite of claims by government officials of improved electricity supply across the country, the reality on the ground is that very little has changed in the lives of Nigerians, who still have to depend heavily on standby generators as their primary source of electricity. Companies that had long given up on public power supply, because of its erratic nature, continue to invest heavily in alternative sources of power to keep their production lines running in a very difficult business environment created by acute shortage of electricity. Everyone still has to cope with frequent and prolonged power cuts with serious implications for the social and economic lives of the people.

Actor Solomon Akiyesi tells his own side of the story

By now actor Solomon Akiyesi needs no introduction...:-). He's finally telling his own side of the story. In a statement he released to Sunnewsonline.com, he said his first wife, Ezinne was deceitful and greedy, and that if he hadn't left Lilian his second wife, he would have committed suicide. But Uloma, the 3rd woman he attempted to marry, gives him true love and inner joy. See what he said below..
Over the last one week, hell has been let loose on me. I’ve not only suffered verbal attacks, but also vituperations and near fisticuffs, all because of another futile attempt of mine at my journey towards achieving that which I honestly and passionately desire – a peaceful home and family. Social network sites and blogs have been awash with how I left Lilian, my “pregnant” wife, to marry Uloma, my Lagos “mistress” whom they also claimed was pregnant for me. Nothing can be farther from the truth.
Only a mad or cursed man would simply leave his pregnant wife and elope with another one. And lest I forget, I urge you, as you read this, to have an open mind to listen to that which is true instead of taking sides and jumping into wicked conclusions with its attendant wicked insults and uncouth commentaries about how Solomon is running his life and how he is not. I’m not asking for pity or trying to buy anybody’s love at this time.
It gets more interesting. Continue reading After The Break.

What are your turn-ons (and turn-offs)? What fantasies do you want to try? Where do you like to be touch

“The next time you go to bed with your partner, ask yourself this question: “What is the feeling, thought, or behavior that is most present within me at this moment?” Perhaps you are experiencing fear, tension or even anger. Don’t be afraid to express these feelings to your partner — and invite your partner to do the same. This will result in a truly intimate moment. “—Bruce Derman
