He was the Vice Chancellor of the University of Tennessee, US and presently a co-founder of Three Rivers Academic Consulting and Assessment Group in Africa as well as  President/CEO of Medical Assay Laboratory,
Chicago, US.

Indian Deadly attack: FG summons envoy, threatens retaliation,demands apology.

 Federal Government has demanded an unreserved apology from the Indian authorities over the death of a Nigerian, Obodo Simeon and discriminatory attacks on Nigerians afterwards.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Prof. Viola Onwuliri, said this while answering questions from journalists at the Pre-Commonwealth Head of Government Meeting press briefing in Abuja on Monday.

Tensions between Nigerians and Indians have escalated since Simeon was found dead in Goa, a popular tourist destination in the country’s west. Simeon, according to reports, was stabbed to death on October 31 in Panaji, Goa state’s capital.

PDP suspends Oyinlola, Baraje, Jaja, Kazaure

Suspected Notorious robber records colleagues during massive operation

The Lagos State Police Command has arrested a 23-year-old robber, Prince Nwafor, with a visual recording of a robbery operation that he took part in. According to police authorities, the suspect is part of a robbery gang that specialises in snatching vehicles in Lagos and selling them at low prices.  The gang was also alleged to have robbed in Ebonyi and Anambra states.

Mrs. Clara Chime on Monday stated that she was forced to remain as wife of Governor Sullivan Chime of Enugu State.  She said she would have walked away from the marriage during the period Chime was sick and away for five months, but remained on “very compassionate grounds.”

Lagos Stops Admitting Unintelligent Students Into Public Schools

Commissioner for Education, Mrs. Olayinka Oladunjoye who disclosed this over the weekend at an interactive meeting with Parents Forum of public secondary schools in Lagos State explained that the placement tests are necessary in order to ensure that lofty standards are not only maintained but set in public secondary schools in the state.

Oladunjoye who was represented by the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Education, Mrs. Omolara Erogbogbo urged parents to desist from approaching teachers and other people for the placement of their wards into model colleges and upgraded schools.
She affirmed that students who failed to meet the promotion criteria set out in the state would not be promoted.

AIT Cameraman beaten by Security Operative at Obasanjo son’s wedding!!

A road mishap in Bayelsa State has led to the deaths of no less than 10 persons after a commuter bus plunged into a river around the Kolokuma-Opokuma Local Government Area of the state.

According to reports, the bus plunged into the Okoso river along the Kaiama-Sampou stretch of the East-West road at around 8.30pm on Saturday.

A 17-year-old secondary school student, Ismaila Suraju, has built a planting machine and a locally-made power generator that uses water and batteries, among others.The boy doesn't plan to prevent, he says his next goal is to build an aeroplane. When the student was younger, he had to produce a pair of slippers out of a cardboard to protect his feet from the scorching soil of the farm path.The necessity of protecting his face from sunlight also made him create a baseball cap, then cars, train, grinding machines, all with the exact same cardboard.
