It's Four-Day Week In Gambia

Unlike in the rest of the world, employees in a tiny nation on Africa's west coast can now enjoy an extended weekend of three days, beginning Friday.
The reform introduced in the public-sector by Gambian President Yahya Jammeh came into force on February 1 ignoring Opposition protest.
From now on, employees need to work only on four days, Monday to Thursday, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. It means they will get an additional off day, but will have to work two hours extra on working days. The Gambian government employees have been working five days a week, from 8 in the morning to 4 in the evening. The change in schedule does not reduce the total number of 40 working hours a week.

Where is Stella Obasanjo’s son ?

Muyiwa and Imelse
Until his mother’s death via an unsuccessful surgery in 2005, little or nothing was known about Muyiwa Obasanjo, son of Nigeria’s former First Lady, Stella Obasanjo.  Her demise somewhat launched him into the limelight irrespective of the fact that he was resident abroad at that time. Although he retreated from the social sphere post- funeral, he was again in the news when he wedded Imelse, a citizen of Dominican Republic at a wedding that had all the trappings of luxury and thereafter relocated to Nigeria.
Many years after romancing the kleiglights   albeit impromptu, he has tactically withdrawn, causing many to wonder what he has been up to.

Do you think Reverend King should die by hanging?

A Court of Appeal sitting in Lagos yesterday ruled that Rev King, the General Overseer of the Christian Praying Assembly who was arrested and sentenced to death six years ago for murder, must die by hanging.

Reverend Chukwuemeka Ezeuko aka Rev King was arrested, prosecuted and sentenced to death by hanging in January 2007 for the death of one of his church members, a young girl named Ann Uzoh, who he set ablaze by pouring fuel on her along with 6 other church members after accusing them of committing fornication in his church. Ann died in hospital from injuries she sustained from the burn. Rev King has been in prison since then awaiting his death sentence, which he appealed and lost.

What's your thoughts on this? Think he deserves the death sentence

Observations & questions for today's emergency activists - By Reno Omokri

Article written by Reno Omokri - Special Assistant ( New Media) to the President.
Some emergency activist DID NOT leave the PDP until they failed to get what they wanted. Being frustrated doesn't make you a progressive!
Their narcissism is evident when they make an article that probably refers to them in passing all about them.
Their vanity is evident when they criticize everything in government and the past as bad except what they achieved.
