Unidentified Human Body Parts ‘Fall From heaven’



Residents of Saudi Arabia’s Jeddah were shocked to see human body parts suddenly falling from the night sky.

Human body parts fell from the sky in the city of Jeddah Sunday, with police saying they could be the remains of a person trapped in an airplane’s wheel bay.
“Police received a telephone call at 2:30 am from a witness reporting the fall of human remains at an intersection in Mushrefa neighbourhood” in the Red Sea city, spokesman Nawaf bin Naser al-Bouq said in a statement. Initial indications were that the remains “fell from a plan’s landing gear,” said Bouq, adding that investigations were ongoing.

A man was shot and killed Monday morning by law enforcement at Adenta in Accra for wrestling with law enforcement who have been supervising the demolition of unauthorized structures there.

Three others, suspected to be land guards were arrested.

These were alleged to have lunged at law enforcement with dangerous weapons in an endeavor to avoid the demolition exercise being carried out by a private developer at Aviation lands, Adentan in Accra.

The Commander of the Alfa Swat Unit of the Ghana Police Service, Supt T. K. Hlormenu, told Joy News'Francisca Kakra Forson, law enforcement were left without choice than to protect themselves.

This figure is contained in the details of the 2014 Appropriation Bill presented to the National Assembly by President Goodluck Jonathan through the Minister of Finance, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala. The Federal Government has budgeted another N1.52b for the maintenance of the 10 aircraft currently in the PAF in 2014 and it is now set to spend just about that amount on a new one. This prodigious squandering of taxpayers’ money is reckless and unacceptable.

The Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babatunde Raji Fashola, SAN, has approved the appointment of seven new Permanent Secretaries which includes three Tutors-General in the State Public Service.

Scott Disick's dad passes away 8 weeks after his mum passed away



 Kourtney Kardashian's longtime partner Scott Disick has lost his dad just 8 weeks after losing his mum, Bonnie Disick, who passed on suddenly in early November 2013 at age 63.  His dad, Jeffrey Disick, a real-estate developer, died on Friday January 3rd in accordance with a written report by E! News. Scott is reported to be so devastated and beside himself with grief.

Imagine losing both parents within 8 weeks, particularly when you're an only child like Scott is.

Wali usually holds court, reportedly occurred on Monday morning a few hours before a politically charged suit against Hon Evans Bipi, a member of the Rivers State House of Assembly and leader of a group of 6 lawmakers, who has been unlawfully parading himself as the Speaker of the Rivers State House of Assembly.

President open to reconciliation with Obasanjo –Presidency



The Presidency on Sunday said President Goodluck Jonathan was favourably  disposed to mending fences with former President Olusegun. The Special Adviser to the President on Political Matters, Mr. Ahmed Gulak,  made this known on Sunday just as  The PUNCH  gathered that the  feud between   Jonathan and Obasanjo was   adding to the worries of the leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party.
The sour relationship between the duo became public knowledge in December 2013 when Obasanjo wrote a letter titled “Before it is too late” to Jonathan.  In  the letter, he accused the President of condoning corruption, training snipers, putting some persons on a watch list and engaging in other acts capable of destroying the country. Jonathan replied Obasanjo openly, saying  his  letter  was    designed to incite Nigerians   against him.
