Photos: Police sets shanties in Lekki on fire



 Shanties around the Lekki second Roundabout are currently been razed down by police in a bid to pursuit the citizens from the area. The fire is apparently going out of control. See more pictures after the break. 

Girl hacked to death by former-boyfriend on her way to school



Pupils from Bishop Okoth Miranga senior school mourn their colleague who was  hacked to death by her former boyfriend
A 16-year old girl was hacked to death by her ex-boyfriend with a machete on her way to school in Kenya.
In accordance with reports, the victim, an form three student at Bishop Okoth Miranga Secondary School was ambushed by the suspect at about 6 a.m.
It was gathered from witnesses a quarrel had ensued between suspect and the deceased over a love affair turned sour.
