3 in 1 Trouble: Pastor Injured in auto-crash, leg amputated, detained over N1.5m hospital bill

WHEN Rev  Elijah Esei left Lagos for Ebonyi State on 2 July, 2012  to accord his late mother a befitting burial, little did he know that he may end up at the Accident and Emergency Ward of the University of Benin Teaching Hospital {UBTH).

The 38-year-old cleric, who hails from Ezi-Edda Etiti community, in Afikpo South Local Government of Ebonyi State and head of THE HOPE OF FAITH MISSION based in Lagos,  had traveled with one of the vehicles allegedly belonging to Okeyson Investment Services Ltd. Shortly before Okada, near Benin-City, the vehicle was said to have been  involved in an accident.

The 6 things he’s hoping you’ll do the first time you have $-éx

Treat it light-heartedly, don’t make a big deal and let him know it’s normal and you understand, and you’re set for open, honest, communicative s-éx.
Another week and another study (this one about sliders Vs deciders) about how likely we are NOT to survive the distance with our current partners.  Which is utterly depressing in a glass-half-empty way.
Look at it with glass-half-full eyes, however, and it also means you get the chance to go through that delicious falling in love stage again…and have first time s-éx.
What’s changed from the last time you were single?
For those who are embarking on a s-éxy, new relationship and eager to make a good first impression, here’s what men tell me your new lover’s hoping for.

Meet the World’s Oldest Mother, Who Gave Birth at Almost 70 (PHOTOS)

When Rajo Devi Lohan made headlines around the world by becoming the world's oldest first-time mother, critics said she was putting her health at risk and condemning her daughter to the agony of losing her parents at a young age.

She gave birth, following controversial IVF treatment, at the age of 69, then nearly died from complications with the delivery.  But now, five years later, the 74-year-old says having her daughter, Naveen, has made her stronger and helped her live longer.

Following her bout of ill health, the frail mother believes her desire of seeing her little one marry is giving her the strength to fight on and live to see the special day.

FG recruits 500 engineers for new power plants – Gov. Fayemi

Abuja –  The Federal Government says it has begun the recruitment of 500 qualified engineers for the effective running of the nation’s 10 new power plants.

Gov. Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti made this known to State House correspondents after a meeting of the Board of the Niger Delta Power Holding Company (NDPHC) presided over by Vice President Namadi Sambo in Abuja on Friday.

Fayemi, who is also a member of the board, said the exercise was meant to address the critical challenge of lack of skilled manpower in the nation’s power sector.

"A nation of perverts and paedophiles" - Femi Fani Kayode

The Nigerian Senate includes some of the brightest minds in our country many of whom are friends of mine and most of whom have been in active politics for many years.

FA: "A nation of perverts and paedophiles" - Femi Fani Kayode

They have my respect. However what transpired in the Senate chamber a few days ago was a great cause for concern for not just me but millions of Nigerians from all over the world. How an innocent and seemingly uninteresting, uninspiring and unimportant debate about when and at what age a Nigerian citizen could legitimately and lawfully renounce his or her citizenship turned into a referendum on paedophilia and child marriage I dont know. Yet sadly that is precisely what happened and ever since then the nation has been on fire.
