Terrible: 14-Yr-Old Teenage Girl Stabs Her Sister 40Times For Being “Ungrateful”




Police say, a 14-year-old was said to have stabbed her 11-year-old sister 40 times with a kitchen knife, leaving her to bleed to death. It has been gathered that the 14-year-old girl allegedly stabbed her half-sibling 40 times, while the victim was in bed, because the youngster had hit her and was ungrateful for meals cooked for her. The girl appeared in a juvenile court yesterday charged with first-degree murder.

Man Kills Wife Over Whatsapp Photos Images



A 41-year-old man appeared in court yesterday facing a murder charge after he allegedly fatally assaulted his wife on New Year’s Eve accusing her of receiving a Whatsapp message accompanied by images of male s3xual organs, Zimbabwean papers report.

Thembinkosi Gumbi, who had initially pleaded guilty to charges of assault under the Domestic Violence Act, had his charge changed to murder after his wife Nyarai Moyo (28) succumbed to the assault injuries on January 5 this year.

Oyo Pastor Kills Friend After Accusing Him Of Stealing His Glory!




Pastor who operates and resides in Oyo State, Pastor Adepoju who was a former pastor at The Apostolic church, TAC, Oke Afata, Gbongan in Osun State has stabbed his pastor friend to death in his home. Adepoju left Ibadan for Osun State to meet with Pastor Julius Olusoji Oguntoye in Osun State pretending to be there for a courtesy visit.

Nigerian adult nabbed With 53 Tubes of Heroin in Liberia



Monrovia — For the second time in less than a month officers of the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) assigned at the Roberts International Airport (RIA) have nabbed a Nigerian national with 53 tubes of heroin.
Johnson Paul is the second Nigerian to be arrested at the country’ s only international airport in less than a month with such huge quantity of drugs which the Drug Enforcement Agency has put its street value at US$23, 250.00 equivalents to L$2, 027,850.00.

"Forgive Me, It's My First Time" - Man, 62, Pleads After Molesting 7-Yr-Old Girl



A man in Taraba who was arrested by the police on suspicion of rape has been found guilty of the charges against him.  Boniface Ankwuli, 62, was sentenced yesterday before an Upper Area Court in Jalingo, the state capital and he is to spend 6 years in prison for his crime.

Mr. Ankwuli admitted that he had molested the 7-year-old victim and he pleaded with the court to be lenient with him as it was his first offence.

Former Miss Venezuela/Telemundo actress together with ex shot dead in Venezuela




Former Miss Venezuela 2004 and popular telenovela actress, Monica Spear, 29, and her ex-husband Thomas Berry, 39, were shot dead in their car on a highway in Venezuela by armed robbers in front of their 5 year old daughter on Monday January 6th, local news reports.
Monica and Thomas were traveling with their daughter late Monday night when their car hit a sharp object which had been placed on the Puerto Cabello highway.

Man accused of killing police dog in Columbia, SC bagged 35 years




COLUMBIA, SC — More than a police dog died Dec. 16, 2011, as an armed robber fired seven shots during a police manhunt through a North Columbia neighborhood.

While no Richland County Sheriff’s deputies or Columbia Police Department officers were hit by bullets, scars remain.

5 Nigerian Police men Nabbed For Renting AK-47 To Kidnappers



OWERRI — Five policemen, serving in Imo State police command, including the armourer of New Owerri police division, are now in detention over how one of the AK-47 rifles officially issued for guard duties, ended up in the hands of dare devil kidnappers operating in the state.

Confirming the develpoment to Vanguard in a telephone interview yesterday, the state Commissioner of Police, Mohammed Musa Katsina, said while four of the five policemen were explaining their involvement in the sordid act, the armourer is being tried for negligent conduct.

Crime: Woman allegedly axed her husband to death in Edo State.



Edo state Police Commissioner, Funso Adebanjo paraded 42 suspects, including robbers and other criminals among who had been one Zenab Agbontine who allegedly axed her husband to death was also paraded.

In her confession, Zenab, who allegedly killed her husband, said:
“He stopped me from entering his room. I pleaded with him to forgive me because I'd problems but he refused. It was when he slept that I entered the room with an axe and hit his head. I don't know very well what entered into me.

Two men lost their lives after sleeping with two married women in Agbor, Delta




Two men, a patent medicine dealer and an auto-mechanic, have died in Agbobi Community, Agbor, Delta State, have died after a sex bout with two women. The police moved swiftly, arresting both women and two others identified as their friends, suspected for being involved in the death of both men. According to reports, both men died after alleged being deceived into having sexual intercourse with two of the suspects, after they had confessed that they had been divorced from their husbands.

Police arrest Rivers lawmaker, Chidi Lloyd, for double murder



The River State Police Command has arrested him for the alleged murder of 2 people, one Kingsley Ejeuo and police sergeant Urang Obadiah.

In a statement issued by the Rivers State police, Chidi Lloyd is accused of knocking down and killing the police sergeant while pursuing Kingsley Ejeuo who he also killed. The statement after the break

Myanmar releases about 2,000 inmates, including three political prisoners.



Myanmar on Friday freed about 2,000 inmates, including at least three political prisoners, to mark its Independence Day, officials and activists said.

"More than 2,000 prisoners were released today with 1,800 from Insein Prison in Yangon and another 230 from Mandalay prison," said Hla Maung Shwe, an adviser to President Thein Sein.
The presidential amnesty was granted to commemorate Independence Day on Saturday. Myanmar, formerly called Burma, was granted independence from Britain on January 4, 1948.

Nigerian man nabbed in New Jersey for allegedly killing his pregnant wife



On Friday December 27th, 33 year old Babatope Owoseni was arrested in East Orange, New Jersey in connection with the death of his wife who had been nine months pregnant at the time of her death.
26 year old Fatoumata Owoseni was found unresponsive at the 39 South Munn Avenue apartment she shared with  Babatope. The authorities haven't released facts about how he allegedly killed her. Babatope has been faced with her murder and will be held without bail at the Essex County Corrections Facility.

Lady stabs Her Fiancé after Disagreement Over Wedding Colors - PICTURED



Richland County deputies say a 34-year-old woman stabbed her fiancé on Christmas Day when they argued over what colors must be used in their wedding. Investigators say the man was attempting to leave a home near Blythewood following the argument when Krysta James attacked him around 8:30 p.m. Wednesday. Deputies say the man was stabbed in the top of the body, but his injuries weren't life-threatening. James is faced with criminal domestic violence of a top and aggravated nature. She remains in jail on a $10,000 bond, and it isn't known if she has an attorney.

Man Arrested For Theoretically molesting, Impregnating 14-Year-Old Daughter



The victim narrated her ordeal.
The Police in Lagos State claimed it had arrested a 36-year old person who apparently molested and impregnated his 14-year old daughter.  The Police Public Relations Specialist in their state, Ngozi Braide, made this known when she briefed journalists in Ikeja on Friday.

Banker in Police net for withdrawing ₦50m from customers’ accounts (Pictured)



The Special Fraud Unit, Ikoyi, Lagos State, has arrested an account officer with Guaranty Trust Homes, Adeola Olokojobi, in connection with a N50m fraud at the financial institution.

A statement by the SFU Commissioner of Police, Mr. Tunde Ogunsakin, said, “The petitioner also alleged that the balance given to him was at variance with his actual balance in the account.
“An internal investigation conducted by GT Homes into the account revealed that Olokojobi in April 2013, forged an instruction, transferring N15m from the petitioner’s account, to an unknown account.

4 persons have been arraigned before a magistrate's court at Iyaganku, Ibadan, Oyo State for conspiracy and defilement to be remanded in Agodi prison custody till January 27.
The accused's names were listed as Emmanuel Abiola (64) a.k.a. Old Soldier, Mohammed Sanni (35), Kabiru Mohammed (25), Sakiru Sokoto (20), Eze Ndubuisi (26), Mohammed Sefiu (21) and Mohammed Bashir (20).

In a suit with number MI/1516C/2013, the accused persons were said to have "conspired together to commit felony to wit defilement, contrary to and punishable under section 516 of the criminal code cap 38 vol. 2 laws of Oyo State of Nigeria 2000."

A 28-year-old person, Nonso Egbuzobi, who had been caught by agents of Unique Anti-Robbery Squad within a robbery operation in Lagos State, has pleaded with the authorities to release  him, stating he was only an informant and not really a member of any robbery gang. Police authorities had claimed Egbuzobi and three others were element of a group that killed three policemen during an ATM robbery at an Entry Bank branch in Ayobo, Ipaja part of their state on Nov 20, 2013.

Crime: Lagos Pastor Beats Accused Witch Woman To Death In Lagos Church [Phot'd]



Tawakalitu died last November after a prolonged illness and under strange circumstances. Her death has strained the relationship between her family and her husband’s in whose custody she died after her mother was denied access to see her for a month.

Reportedly, Mrs. Oluranti Adesina, Tawakalitu’s mother said that Razak, his father and the leader of a white garment church where her daughter died, know something about the young woman’s strange death.
