Video of deadly St Louis police shooting raises questions (GRAPHIC)




The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department has released mobile phone footage that seems to be at odds with parts of its story surrounding the officer-involved shooting of Kajieme Powell in the weeks after Michael Brown’s death.


According to St. Louis Public Radio, the police released the video Wednesday evening as part of an effort to be more transparent when it comes to violent incidents involving law enforcement. In addition to the cell phone footage, the department also released security camera footage of the alleged robbery, as well as the two 911 calls made to police.

Ebola Death toll hit 3 in Nigeria as another man dies in Nigeria



Nigeria has recorded another death from the outbreak of the deadly Ebola virus. This time it is a staff of the Lagos Liason office of the Economic Community of West African State - ECOWAS headquarters, Mr Jatto Abdulqudir. Confirming his death in a statement, ECOWAS management said the 36 year old man was among those who assisted the late Liberian Patrick Sawyerr when he came to Lagos for a regional meeting and was quarantined after Sawyerr died of the deadly disease. This brings to three the number of deaths from the deadly virus in Nigeria. The first two being Sawyerr and a Nigerian nurse.

Bachelor party turns deadly in Maiduguri as Boko Haram Launches assault on party-goers.



Around 11pm Saturday evening December 28th, three guys thought to be members of Islamic militant Boko Haram invaded a bachelor celebration at Tashan Alade community in Maiduguri and Launched fire on the party-goers, eliminating seven of these people and hurting many others.    An eyewitness who survived the attack claimed the guys came in two motorcycles , joined the celebration like they were visitors and before anyone knew what was happening , they presented their weapons and started firing indiscriminately. They fled the scene after ensuring many people were dead.

Indian Deadly attack: FG summons envoy, threatens retaliation,demands apology.



 Federal Government has demanded an unreserved apology from the Indian authorities over the death of a Nigerian, Obodo Simeon and discriminatory attacks on Nigerians afterwards.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Prof. Viola Onwuliri, said this while answering questions from journalists at the Pre-Commonwealth Head of Government Meeting press briefing in Abuja on Monday.

Tensions between Nigerians and Indians have escalated since Simeon was found dead in Goa, a popular tourist destination in the country’s west. Simeon, according to reports, was stabbed to death on October 31 in Panaji, Goa state’s capital.

Female Musician In Deadly Accident



News reaching us Sunday morning from the Federal Capital Territory – Abuja is that fast rising female Rap and Dance Hall artist, Princess Dxkey, was involved in a terrible motor accident. Dxkey and her friend Ruth were the only occupants in the car when the accident occurred.
Ruth was driving her newly acquired Car on their way from the INVASION WITH PHYNO Event by Pressplay Entertainment at Nicon Luxury Abuja around 10: 45pm yesterday night. The accident occurred in Area 3 and the Car somersaulted multiple times.

Boko Haram Grave Uncovered With More Deadly Arms & Ammunition



Some shocking discoveries have been made in Maiduguri, the beleaguered 
Borno State capital that is said to be the engine-room of the Boko Haram insurgency.

“During search of the areas, many arms and ammunition of various calibres buried in houses and cemeteries were recovered. Decomposing corpses of those killed by the terrorists were also found in soak-away and mass graves of terrorists killed. Troops also discovered vast network mouse-holes linking compounds and underground tunnels as well as bunkers under houses."

Syria denies involvement in deadly car bombings in Turkey




Syria denied Turkish accusations on Sunday that it had a hand in twin car bombings that killed more than 40 people in the Turkish border town of Reyhanli on Saturday.
"Syria did not and will never do such a act because our values do not allow this. It is not anyone's right to hurl unfounded accusations," Syrian Information Minister Omran Zubi was quoted as saying on state media.

Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu said on Sunday that he believed fighters loyal to Syrian President Bashar al-Assad were behind twin car bombings that killed more than 40 people in the Turkish border town of Reyhanli on Saturday.

Mom Finds Seven Deadly Snake In 3 Year Old Son's Wardrobe




A three-year-old boy had a lucky escape after his mother found a box of seven deadly snakes in his wardrobe.

Kyle Cumming had found the snake eggs in his garden in Townsville in Queensland, Australia and was given a takeaway container to put them in. Several weeks later his mother Donna Sim was shocked when she opened the bedroom wardrobe to discover the box full of recently hatched eastern brown snakes – the world’s second deadliest species.
