Psycho : Mother Keeps Dead Son's Body For 18years In Family House (Photos)

A mother whose son died 18 years ago pickled him in alcohol and stashed his corpse in the basement where she has cared for him ever since. Tsiuri Kvaratskhelia keeps Joni Bakaradze’s body entombed in a wooden coffin beneath the family home in Georgia, eastern Europe. But despite having died in 1995, the 22-year-old has remained almost perfectly mummified, thanks to his mother’s constant love and attention. And every year on his birthday she gives him a change of clothes – until four years ago when decay finally made the feat impossible. Joni, whose cause of death remains unknown, is finally beginning to decompose since illness prevented Mrs Kvaratskhelia from giving him the daily care he needs.

Why we oppose use of condom for family planning - Catholic Church

The Catholic church says it opposes artificial family planning techniques, because it encourages bastardisation of sexual activities by young people and “impedes normal procreation.”
The Secretary-General of the Catholic Secretariat of Nigeria, Rev. Fr. Ralph Madu, made this clarification in a response to an enquiry by The Punch on Sunday.
He said, “The Catholic Church believes that modern means, including the use of condoms is morally bad because it impedes normal procreation. You can meet with your wife when you do not want children and those periods when the woman is not fertile instead of having to destroy the sperm and all other forms of artificial prevention.
“They are very artificial means and they do not really give the moral lesson that borders around the use of the sexual organs.

R.I.P: World's 'oldest woman' dies in China: family

A woman who Chinese officials said was 127 years old - although international authorities never recognised the claim - has died, relatives said on Tuesday.

Official documents said that Luo Meizhen was born in 1885, which would make her the oldest person ever to have lived, but she died at the weekend after months of illness, her son Huang Youhe told AFP.
"She was 127 when she died, it wasn't unexpected," her grandson Huang Heyuan said.Luo's declared birth date means she may have been the oldest person in the world when she died, ahead of Japan's Jiroemon Kimura, who records say is 116.
But Luo's claim met with little recognition internationally because China did not have a reliable birth certification system until decades after she was born.

Family Tragedy: Why These Children May Not Live Up To Their 20th Birthday

Experts say four children: Tochukwu, 14, Ifeanyichukwu, 11, Vivian and Marvelous, born by the same parents, Mr. and Mrs. Zebulun Onyia-Eburuo, may not live long because of a genetic condition inherited from their parents, known as muscular dystrophy.
Diagnosis reveal that the type, afflicting the children, is Duchane muscular dystrophy. Muscular dystrophy has several types, depending on the part of the body under siege.
The condition has no cure while research shows that sufferers die before they attain the age of 19 or 20 years. The very lucky ones may live up to 30 years.

Insane? Woman ‘kills’ her whole family to take time off work

A British social worker has been fired for lying to bosses about the deaths of her father, mother, uncle, aunt, brother and ex-husband to skip work.  Rachael Miles took 66 days off in two years to cope with six deaths she completely made up.
In her first claim in February 2010, less than two weeks after starting work for the council, she told bosses her father had been in a car crash, later reporting he had died. The following month Ms Miles claimed her mother had been sectioned under the Mental Health Act, and later that year that she had died during surgery.
In 2011, she told bosses her brother died, followed by her ex-husband. In November that year, Ms Miles asked for more time off after telling bosses her uncle and then her aunt died seven days apart. “I have no recollection of the events mentioned,” she wrote to a disciplinary panel, before they yanked her credentials.
