Australia celebrates Invasion, murder, ra*pe and theft day.

On This Day: Every January 26 is celebrated as Australia Day (previously known as Anniversary Day, Foundation Day, and ANA Day). The date commemorates the arrival of the British First Fleet at Sydney Cove in 1788 and the proclamation at that time of British sovereignty over the eastern seaboard of New Holland (part of present-day Australia). For Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, today is known as Invasion Day or Survival Day. It is a day filled with great pain for many Aboriginal people, and calls continue for Australia to stop recognizing the day British colonists landed and illegally claimed Australia as their own.

Iyayi: Murder Or Accident? (Photos)

Iyayi: Chest showing a big hole
The nature of two holes on the late Professor Festus Iyayi’s body gives life to suspicions by his colleagues that he may have been shot.

Along with grief, anger will be the dominant emotion when Professor Festus Iyayi is buried this week in his hometown, Ugbegun in Edo State. The two feelings have mixed, predictably with unsavoury outcomes, since the former president of the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, died on 12 November in an auto accident on the Lokoja-Abuja Expressway.

Photo Post 1: Gaddafi's widow demands thorough investigation of his murder (Graphic Photos)

The  Omo Oodua has received a letter from Muammar Gaddafi's widow Safia Farkash via a source, which is in fact a proclamation addressed to the entire world. Safia Farkash is spreading this letter through her sister Fatima. (PHOTO 18+)

“In the memory of NATO's aggression against my country, which turned Libya into chaos, and in the memory of my husband, whom I consider to be a martyr, my dear son and the people who were with them on October 20, 2011, when NATO air forces shelled the cortege of Libya's leader, and then, their wounded bodies were butchered by a crowd of people whom I can call no other way than criminals.

Photo Post 5: Gaddafi's widow demands thorough investigation of his murder

Saif al-Islam has always been concerned about the situation with human rights in Libya. He has taken many former radical Islamists from American and European prisons and persuaded them to become law-abiding citizens. Many of them have promised him that they would never come back to terrorist activities. But now, some of the people whom Saif has saved from prison are demanding that he should be executed.

I also demand that the African Union, of which Muammar Gaddafi was a founder, should investigate into the murder of him and all the people who were with him on that day. I demand that the world community should help me to come in touch with my son Saif al-Islam, who has been isolated from all members of our family from the moment of his arrest. Saif's only “crime” is that he has warned that this revolution can only lead Libya to a chaos – which is something that we are witnessing now.

Photo Post 3: Gaddafi's widow demands thorough investigation of his murder (Graphic Photos)

I demand that all the members of the UN Security Council, the European Union and everyone who has direct or indirect connection with this murder must tell where the remains of these martyrs are and allow their relatives to bury them in a proper way.

What this crowd did to my husband and my son cannot be justified from the point of view of any religion. But I also consider it to be a no lesser crime that the remains of these martyrs are still being hid from their relatives, which is something unprecedented in the entire history.

My Mum Told Me To Throw My Cousin Inside Well — 14yr Old Murder Suspect

The story sounded bizarre and confounding but it is true. The discovery of the body of three-year-old Bose Olaniyi in a well in the neighbourhood has thrown the residents of Ilupeju-Isokan area of Akobo into mourning. But the most shocking aspect of the sad occurrence was that the suspect in this case is no other person than the deceased’s cousin, Rilwan Olaniyi, who confessed to have acted on the promptings of his mother to kill his cousin!

How could 14-year-old Rilwan, a Primary Six pupil, ever think of killing his little cousin? Crime Reports gathered that Mrs Bola Olaniyi and Mrs Morenike Olaniyi are two women married to two brothers. The former, who is Rilwan’s mother, is married to the elder of the two brothers and due to circumstances, the latter and her husband with their children started living in the house bulit by the elder brother.

It happened in the evening of June 17. Little Bose’s mother, Morenike, a mother of four, reportedly went to buy yam flour in the neighbourhood to prepare dinner for her children. She left her children behind but the youngest, Bose, cried after her mother, insisting on following her, as if she had a premonition of what would befall her that night. Morenike however sent her daughter back, telling her to go and stay with her siblings. And with that she waved a final bye to her daughter as she never saw her alive again. Dinner for the household later became a forgone issue.

Murder Of Pipeline Defence Guards: Covering Their Tracks, Police in Lagos Beat ‘Confession’ Out of NSCDC Officer

The Police in Lagos have forced Olanrenju Gbedeogun, an officer of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), to make a statement that contradicts yesterday’s events where the police attacked officers of the corps, killed two of its officers, and freed some oil pipeline vandals.

Sources at the Owutu Police Station in Ikorodu, Lagos State, informed SaharaReporters that the police authorities embarked on the measure to back-up their claim to the presidency that it was officers of NSCDC which attacked the police, and that the police knew nothing about the death of the two NSCDC men.
The Lagos State Commissioner of Police is said to have personally supervised the forced video confession of Gbedeogun.
Earlier in the day, we learned that Gbedeogun was being tortured by the police to force him to provide the contradiction of the corps’ account of yesterday’s events.
A police officer at the Owutu Police Station who felt bad about the latest developments told us on condition of anonymity that if care was not taken urgently Gbedeogun would be dead before daybreak.  By that time, the torture victim had already spent over 24hrs in detention, contrary to the law.
