Australia celebrates Invasion, murder, ra*pe and theft day.

On This Day: Every January 26 is celebrated as Australia Day (previously known as Anniversary Day, Foundation Day, and ANA Day). The date commemorates the arrival of the British First Fleet at Sydney Cove in 1788 and the proclamation at that time of British sovereignty over the eastern seaboard of New Holland (part of present-day Australia). For Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, today is known as Invasion Day or Survival Day. It is a day filled with great pain for many Aboriginal people, and calls continue for Australia to stop recognizing the day British colonists landed and illegally claimed Australia as their own.

Folks who went to the concert were stunned with the amount of people in attendance at the quietly publicized concert with Wizkid the headliner with guest appearances from label mates Skales, Niyola, Shaydee. The show was supposed to kick off at 5pm but was found empty as at 9:30pm Nigerian time and we were able to lay our hands on this photo of the big event centre.

Day Aged Women In Ogun Community Went Unclad To Protest Invasion By Marauders

A woman’s body accounts for most, if not all of her dignity and that’s why most women respect the sanctity of decent clothing but what happens when a woman, no, women in their numbers, some old enough to be our mothers, others our grand mothers, strip half unclad? That’s what played out last Saturday at Sonde Apon, a rural community in Ifo Local Government Area, Ogun State.
