Trailer: No student died at a Lagos hotel. The real story behind the photo that went viral



Last week the pic above went viral with many blogs claiming that another student was found dead in a hotel in Lagos. The report claimed that the victim is a girl named Florence Ngwu, a 300L student of University of Nigeria. Erm, no such thing happened in real life. This is a photo from a movie called Murder at Prime Suite Hotel, a fiction but similar to the Cynthia Osogwu murder story.


The character's name is Florence Ngwu played by an actress. The movie stars Joseph Benjamin and Chelsea Eze. The producers of the movie have released a statement.

Abuja University: FG’s N35b That Went Down The Drain



A leader of the Boko Haram sect, Muhammad Marwan, has said that if the Federal Government would not blackmail or deceive them as was done in the past, they will be  ready to avail themselves for dialogue as was initiated by the Northern Elders Forum.

 Marwan spoke  in an interview with the Hausa Service of the Voice of America (VOA) monitored in Kaduna on Tuesday, adding that  he was speaking on behalf of members of Jamatul Ahlus Sunnati lil Daawati wal Jihad, otherwise known as Boko Haram, on the call by Northern Elders Forum for amnesty for the sect members.

A woman’s body accounts for most, if not all of her dignity and that’s why most women respect the sanctity of decent clothing but what happens when a woman, no, women in their numbers, some old enough to be our mothers, others our grand mothers, strip half unclad? That’s what played out last Saturday at Sonde Apon, a rural community in Ifo Local Government Area, Ogun State.
