Advice: Jada Pinkett-Smith shares her thoughts on divorce

Jada, who often uses her Facebook page to give advice and share her thoughts on different issues, yesterday advised an unnamed friend on how to deal with her divorce.

Jada writes,
Letter to a friend:
You are divorced. Your ex-husband is not being kind or considerate, but you can't harp on it because it steals the energy that should be given to your potential and power. At the end of the day, your survival is at risk, and you complaining about what he is not doing and what he should be doing does not change your circumstances.

Jang, Amaechi clash again

I am of the opinion that the press should stop disturbing   the Nigerian public with the inability of the state governors to conduct a mere election of 35 persons. They all have shown that they are not true democrats-both the person that changed the rule to suit him by being the umpire in an election in which he is a major contender, and the person who failed to accept the outcome of an election simply because he lost. They are not the best the country can afford. I want to suggest the proscription of Nigeria Governors’ Forum  for it is of no value to an ordinary Nigerian. The forum is self-serving and their ongoing fight is over the nation’s money. Enough of all these distractions.

"Democracy is when both privates and generals are put on trial for breaching the law" - Russian MP

**Manning’s sentence shows that American democracy goes wrong - Russian MP -

A 35-year prison sentence for WikiLeaks informer Bradley Banning shows that in the United States it’s “privates” and not their superiors that stand trial for breaching the law, which is a glaring sign that something is going wrong in the American democracy, Alexei Pushkov, head of the foreign affairs committee of Russia’s lower house of parliament, said on Wednesday.

“A private has stood trial for breaching the US laws, but none of the generals, who lied to the American nation and who claimed that the system for tapping phone calls and intercepting Internet mail had not been used against Americans, appeared before court,” he said.

CIA admits it was behind Iranian coup of 1953. When will it admit its role in the coups of the 2000s?

It took the agency 60 years to admit what had been an open secret for any observer. Now one may only wonder how long will it take the CIA to admit its role in other turbulent events of recent years, when governments were toppled, installed and once again toppled due to what appeared to be spontaneous mass protests, but in fact were orchestrated from the same place as the 1953 coup in Iran.
