Surprised residents of the Abeokuta metropolis woke as much as behold the campaign posters and banners announcing Adeola's readiness to join the governorship race in Ogun State on the platform of the newly registered All Progressives Congress.
The development occurred barely monthly after chairmen of the defunct Action Congress of Nigeria in the 20 local government areas of their state endorsed the incumbent Governor Ibikunle Amosun for a second term.
