Serious Traffic in V/I tomorrow - Eko Atlantic City opening

There will be heavy traffic in Lagos tomorrow, especially around V/I as several dignitaries are coming for the opening of the Eko Atlantic City Phase 1 inauguration. It will begin at 10 a.m so the Ikeja area may be affected as well (they should be coming in from the airport).

Just thought to warn Lagosians as we are usually not warned in these situations and then we end up spending the day in traffic.

Forget the dog - beware of owner.
A Texas toddler was mauled to death by a pit bull as the canine's owner watched the bloodshed from his doorway and did nothing to stop it, according to the child's parents. Isaiah Aguilar, 2, was playing with his sister outside his home in Sabinal, Texas, shortly before the attack. The girl blew up a balloon for her younger brother, but it blew into their neighbor's backyard. Little Isaiah chased after it toward a tied-up female pit bull.
"My daughter (saw) somebody open the door and look out and said he just shook his head and shut the door," said Richard Aguilar, the boy's father. The child's screams drew his father and brother to the scene. Dead Butchered woman found in Duffel bag at a grocery

All sorts of weird stuff can be found behind some grocery stores, but no one thought the duffel bag contained the body parts of a dead woman.  Two men were charged Monday in the death of an Oklahoma woman whose body was found dismembered in a duffel bag behind a grocery store last year.

Jimmy Massey and Luis Ruiz were being held without bail in the Oklahoma County Jail. The office of Oklahoma County District Attorney charged them with first degree murder in the killing Carina Saunders, who was 19 years old. Her body was discovered in a duffel bag discovered by animal welfare workers, as they picked up cats in Bethany, a suburb of Oklahoma City. The coroner's office said Saunders has died a violent death, but has not disclosed details.

Massey was already in custody on charges related to drugs. He appears to be represented by a lawyer in his drug case, Mitch Solomon, who did not return a message seeking comment.

12 Reasons Why Some Women Don’t Date Nice Guys

Nice guys don’t usually need to be fixed. Bad boys usually do, so they become a project. Women think if they can “create” the perfect man, he will never leave them.
Women say they want a nice guy, yet usually end up dating bad boys. Here’s why.
1. Not real. Nice guys are too nice. No one can always be that nice unless they’re a saint. They are busy being nice instead of being real and women instinctually don’t trust that. Bad boys “keep it real.” Nice guys don’t want to upset the apple cart.

Unbelievable!!! Son Of Italian Anti-Fascist Tax Official Is A Favourite To Be Pope

Since the announcement by Pope Benedict XVI of his resignation on February 28, 2013, which about ten days from today, the church polity has continued heat up towards fierce politicking towards who becomes the next Pope.
Openly campaigning for the papacy, however, is not only taboo, but usually fatal. Most cardinals are of the belief that if someone actually wants the job, they have no idea what it’s about. But this belief does not erase the thick background politics.
On the other hand, sometimes circumstances align to thrust someone into the spotlight, creating an opportunity to either boost or diminish his electoral prospects, even if that’s not officially the purpose of what’s going on.
