Don Jazzy v. Wande Coal | Can the Foolishness Coming Out of Nigeria’s Entertainment Industry & its Leaders STOP, already?

As written by Ms. Uduak Oduok who is an Entertainment Attorney

I began writing, yesterday, about the recent potential legal drama between Don Jazzy and Wande Coal to discuss the alleged claim of Intellectual Property theft and legal issues present, which I will still do, albeit on a different post. However, while writing, I just got tired, like really tired of the state of the industry and the foolishness being served of late.

An educationist, Abiola Awosika on Tuesday urged the federal government to dedicate 35 per cent of its budget to education to ensure that the country meets the international educational standard.

#GoodPeopleThings: "Why I Gave my kidney to save my brother's Life" - Comedian D-Don

Popular comedian and OAP Iruvwe Okeremute aka De-Don donated his kidney to his ailing elder brother, Morris Okeremute, who urgently needed a transplant to survive. De Don traveled to India a few weeks back to donate his kidney. He explains why he did it in a new interview
"My cousin started having this kidney problem in 2009. My elder sister donated her kidney to him at the time but unfortunately in January 2013 the kidney failed because he didn't take his drugs for some weeks because the drugs he ordered from India arrived late. Se when he needed another kidney it was natural that I donate to him. It wasn't difficult making up my mind because I needed to save his life. I equally had a proper awareness about kidney donation and also the fact that nothing happened to my sister who had donated before. She even had another baby boy after the donation.

Don’t Fight Ageing With Creams Alone

Many people will spend money on anti-ageing creams, facial surgical procedures and other cosmetic processes that claim to restore youthfulness or chunk off some years from their looks.
Well, some people are able to achieve temporary relief from the scrawny lines that wrinkles foist on the face, neck and the forehead — three areas of the body that readily give away, unsolicited, the number of decades someone has spent so far on this part of the divide.
Yet, experts say we can save ourselves from the feelings of helplessness that ageing — especially premature ageing — foist on us. They contend that dietary habits can either delay or speed up the ageing process, depending on what you take into your mouth.

UNIMAID Don Abducted In Error, Captors Reduce Demand To N5m

Abductors of Dr Abba Kagu, an associate professor of Geography at the University of Maiduguri (UNIMAID), are demanding a ransom of N5 million for his release.
The don was picked on Saturday evening at the Federal Low cost housing estate in Maiduguri by kidnappers who mistook him for someone else.
A source close to the family said: “The abductors mistook him for a brother in law of a prominent politician in Borno State.
“Initially, they demanded for N100m but when they realized that they picked the wrong person, they demanded for N5 million…insisting he cannot go free,” the source, who pleaded anonymity said.
Meanwhile, Kagu’s family have intensified their prayers for his safe return and urged their acquaintances to also join them in praying for his return.

12 Reasons Why Some Women Don’t Date Nice Guys

Nice guys don’t usually need to be fixed. Bad boys usually do, so they become a project. Women think if they can “create” the perfect man, he will never leave them.
Women say they want a nice guy, yet usually end up dating bad boys. Here’s why.
1. Not real. Nice guys are too nice. No one can always be that nice unless they’re a saint. They are busy being nice instead of being real and women instinctually don’t trust that. Bad boys “keep it real.” Nice guys don’t want to upset the apple cart.
