LOBATAN: Pastor Drops Dead Conducting Funeral Of Herbalist (Christianity and idolatry)



The sleepy town of Asaga-Oha­fia in Ohafia Local Government Area of Abia State has been thrown into a deep shock and controversy following the death of a cleric who dropped dead while conduct­ing the burial service of a renowned herbalist.


Saturday Sun gathered that Pa Oji Okoko, who was not only a notable herb­alist but a leader of some powerful cult groups such as Uke Abaa, Akpan and Ekpe, had warned his family before his death that his corpse should not to be taken to any church for funeral. However, his burial few days ago was turned to a show of power in the community torn between two religions: Christianity and idolatry.

Actress Liz Anjorin Talks about dumping Christianity for Islam




Popular actress Liz Anjorin surprised many recently when photos of her on Muslim Pilgrimage to Mecca surfaced the web. She later announced that she was changing her religion from Christianity to Islam. She also dropped the name Elizabeth and announced that she want to be addressed as Aisha, in light with her new religion. Liz has finally exposed why she made the decision..

Islamist Detained For Insulting Christianity



An extremist Islamic preacher was on Sunday ordered to be detained by Egypt’s State prosecutor for questioning on suspicion of insulting religion after a complaint from a Christian activist, a judicial source said.
The preacher Ahmad Abdullah, known as Abu Islam, is already on trial for tearing up a bible during a protest outside the American embassy in Cairo in September over a short film made in the United States that insulted Prophet Mohammed.

Adelegan Chronicles Nigeria’s Impact on Global Christianity





Come Tuesday, February 26, a new publication titled: Nigeria’s Leading Lights of the Gospel: Revolutionaries in Worldwide Christianity, written by Femi Adelegan, an author, writer, publicist, administrator, technocrat,  politician and information manager will be presented at the Ecumenical Centre, Abuja.
The book chronicles the entire lives and ministries of 43 prominent Nigerian ministers of God,  that have flown the banner of God and Nigeria aloft, and have been used tremendously by God for the advancement of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Adelegan, an ordained leader at the Sword of the Spirit Ministries, (Christ Life Church) Ibadan, was one of the organisers of the first edition of the ‘Nigeria Turning Point’ prayer programme of January 2003, under the mentorship of Bishop Francis Wale Oke, to pray for a successful civilian to civilian political transition of year 2003. The author sowed his time to serve God and participate in the programme, which he regards as a most fruitful venture that moved the hand of God in his life.
