Northern Governors Set To Dump Jonathan and PDP

The political atmosphere in Nigeria is highly combustible at the moment and OluFamous has gathered from top political players in Abuja that a powerful tsunami is coming. There is going to be so many casualties in the "explosion" but President Goodluck Jonathan and the PDP will most likely be the losers.

My source, an insider, said they are now ready to ensure that PDP crumbles...
In their reaction to the suspension on Monday of Governor Rotimi Amaechi, northern governors on the PDP platform were said to have made "serious" contacts and those of them who are bold enough have decided that the best option is to see to the collapse of the PDP as soon as possible.

My source said the Norther Governors who are ready to move and join the opposition are well aware that it was President Goodluck Jonathan that gave the orders for Amaechi's suspension and information available to them was that some of them will soon be suspended and ridiculed too.

Amaechi VS Goodluck - It’s fight to the finish, says Amaechi

The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, yesterday wielded the big stick on the embattled Rivers State Governor and Chairman of the Nigerian Governors’ Forum, NGF, Rotimi Amaechi, by suspending him from the party.
The National Working Committee, NWC, of the party hinged his suspension on anti-party activities. But Amaechi has vowed to fight his suspension to the finish. “I will not leave the PDP. I will go to court.
The aircraft issue is same politics, pure politics. For one year plus, a minister refuses to sign import permit. I’m sure you are aware of the House of Representatives’ Committee report on the plane issue. “I want to say the way these people at the federal level are acting, they may come for my life. So, when you pray, please pray for me,” he said. He said there was nothing wrong for a governor to ask for his right, “which the PDP is now describing as anti-party.”

On Sunday, addressing a gathering of students at the University of Addis Ababa, the U.S. Secretary of State called this country's drone program one of the strictest, most accountable and fairest programs never targeting any civilians, or even avoiding firing "when we know there are children or collateral". Lying about the drone program or other aspects of the U.S. policy has become habitual for U.S. officials, but this time the outright lie was so evident that The Washington Post, which first reported of Mr. Kerry's statement late on Sunday, by Monday afternoon removed the story from its website, with the internet link referring the reader to another, completely different story.

Strange:10 Year Old boy kills his Father

A 10-year-old boy in California was charged with killing his neo-Nazi father, according to court proceedings. The son of a neo-Nazi ring leader told his younger sister that he planned to shoot his father and then a day later took a gun from his parents' room and fired a bullet into the head of his father as he slept on a couch, a prosecutor alleged Tuesday.

The boy's father, Jeff Hall, was a plumber with no work and the regional leader of the National Socialist Movement, who led rallies at synagogues and at day labor sites.

In opening statements in the murder trial, Riverside County prosecutor Michael Soccio dismissed the idea that the neo-Nazi beliefs of Hall contributed to his child's behavior, as the defense maintains, and instead said the boy, now 12 years, was a violent child who had been expelled from every school he attended.

Six killed, scores injured as hoodlums clash in Lagos

No fewer than six people were killed yesterday in a renewed clash between rival groups in Ajah area of Lagos over the struggle for the control of motor parks in the area.  It will be recalled that the Ilaje community was set ablaze seven months ago over disagreement as to who controls Ilaje Bus Stop which led to the death of three people.
The battle for ownership and territorial control in Ajah, between Ilaje community, who are regarded as settlers in the area, and the indigenes of Ajah community, has been on for long and the hope of many residents that it had ended was dashed at the weekend when fighting resumed.  Three factions, Ajah Boys, Olumegbon Boys and Ilaje Boys, have so far been identified in the latest clash with the Ajah Boys said to be having the upper hand.
A resident of Ilaje, who simply identified himself as Tunde, told National Mirror that the latest clash was supposed to be between the Olumegbon Boys and Ajah Boys, but that it was extended to the Ilaje Boys, who were not part of it. Tunde said that four Olumegbon members and two people were killed in the clash, which disrupted commercial activities in many parts of Ajah on Saturday.
