Photo/Video: Iran launches mass-production of drones, sends copy to Russia.

The head of Russia's air force, General Viktor Bondarev, got an interesting present during his visit to Iran - an Iranian copy of a US spy drone ScanEagle. The drone represents "the technical capabilities of the Islamic Iran," according to The Guardian.

The Yasseer drone was provided to Russia on the sidelines of a meeting in Tehran between Bondarev and Farzad Esmayeeli, the air defense commander of Khatam al-Anbia, the Revolutionary Guards' military and industrial base.
"The drone built by the Islamic republic's Revolutionary Guards is a symbol of the technical capabilities of the Islamic Iran and today we presented a real model of it as a gift to Russian air force … and the Russian people," Esmayeeli said after meeting.

On Sunday, addressing a gathering of students at the University of Addis Ababa, the U.S. Secretary of State called this country's drone program one of the strictest, most accountable and fairest programs never targeting any civilians, or even avoiding firing "when we know there are children or collateral". Lying about the drone program or other aspects of the U.S. policy has become habitual for U.S. officials, but this time the outright lie was so evident that The Washington Post, which first reported of Mr. Kerry's statement late on Sunday, by Monday afternoon removed the story from its website, with the internet link referring the reader to another, completely different story.

UN prepares report: Infinite usage of drones changes the "laws of war"

Download audio file

The United Nations Human Rights Council is preparing a report covering all aspects of the use of combat drones in the fight against terrorism. This document must be ready in the second half of this year. Military experts, legal experts and human rights organizations are becoming more and more concerned over the fact that the use of drones is limited by nothing at all, and international legal experts believe that combat drones dramatically change the “laws of war”.
Ben Emmerson, the UN Special Rapporteur on Human Rights and Counterterrorism headed the work on this document. According to him, the use of drones is regulated neither by the international law nor by any laws.

Part 1: Iran's drones would serve Washington right - Rozoff

NATO continues to surround the Russian Federation with their missiles, which according to Mr. Rozoff, may soon number in the thousands and NATO also continues to aggressively seek to "integrate" country after country into their "alliance".

Rick tells us why the Western media has gone quiet on Syria and comments on the fact that Iran is now producing its own drones, which were reversed engineered from captured American drones. As always Rick has his finger on the pulse.
Robles: Can you give our listeners an update on the latest happenings with NATO please?
