Husband Catches Wife In Bed With Another Man, Commits Suicide The Next Day



The man whose wife was recently caught red-handed sleeping with another man has committed suicide.
Tichakura Zadzi (31) caught his wife Karen Phiri in bed with a trader only known as Zenzo.

The incident took place Mbare, Zimbabwe. On the night before Zadzi committed suicide, there was an impasse as to who should take the wife prompting the hubby, wife and boyfriend to share the same room.

It's Four-Day Week In Gambia



Unlike in the rest of the world, employees in a tiny nation on Africa's west coast can now enjoy an extended weekend of three days, beginning Friday.
The reform introduced in the public-sector by Gambian President Yahya Jammeh came into force on February 1 ignoring Opposition protest.
From now on, employees need to work only on four days, Monday to Thursday, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. It means they will get an additional off day, but will have to work two hours extra on working days. The Gambian government employees have been working five days a week, from 8 in the morning to 4 in the evening. The change in schedule does not reduce the total number of 40 working hours a week.

Six states to experience two-day blackout – TCN



Six states of the federation will experience power outage on Saturday and Sunday, the Transmission Company of Nigeria has said.
A statement issued by the Assistant General Manager, Public Affairs, TCN, Mr. Dave Ifabiyi, in Abuja on Tuesday, named the states as Abia, Imo, Enugu, Ebonyi, Imo and parts of Benue.
According to Ifabiyi, the light out will enable the company’s contractors enhance the capacity of the transmission system that serves the affected areas.

Henry Okah Found Guilty of 2010 Independence Day Bomb Attack





The sentence includes a life jail term. The sentence will be carried out on January 31st or February 1st. The judge however gave Okah room for mitigation. Okah is accused of masterminding two car bombings in Abuja on October 1 in 2010.
12 people were killed and 36 were injured. He was arrested in Johannesburg the following day. Okah was allegedly the leader of the Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta (MEND), that claimed responsibility for the blasts. He was charged with engaging in terrorist activities, conspiracy to engage in terrorist activity, and delivering, placing, and detonating an explosive device.

Mild Drama At Armed Forces Remembrance Day As OBJ Refuses To Lay Wreath




There was a mild drama at the armed forces remembrance day held at Arcade ground in Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital, when former President Olusegun Obasanjo shunned the traditional wreath laying ceremony.Obasanjo who was clad in a white flowing Agbada with a traditional blue cap,  shunned the State governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun’s  request to lay a wreath.The mild episode ensued when his name was mentioned as part of the dignitaries that would lay the wreath and he vehemently rejected after he was persuaded by the governor.

Man, 25, Rapes 13-Year-Old Girl The Whole Night On Christmas Day




A 13-year-old girl had a nightmarish Christmas Day after she was abducted by a man who took her to his house and raped her the whole night.
This heartrending incident was heard when the alleged rapist, Thandazani Nyoni (25) of Kensington,  appeared before the magistrate court for contravening section 65 of the Criminal Law (Codification and Reform) Act Chapter 9:23, rape.

Man Dies On Christmas Day, Wife Throws Party A Few Hours Later



In an extraordinary incident, a Mahatshula woman in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe hosted a party after the death of her husband.According to sources, the party was held on Christmas Day just a few hours after the woman's husband died. The woman, Nomasonto Zikhali is said to have lost her husband, Khumbulani Ncube, who died on Christmas day.

Helen Ukpabio's Mum Dies Of Heartbreak After Losing 3 Sons Same Day





 Evangelist Helen Ukpabio's mom, Mrs Etim Ukpabio, has passed away on weeks after witnessing the killing of 3 of her sons...around the same day. She also misplaced a daughter  nights later on who died from shock immediately after learning about what transpired to her brothers. Mrs Ukpabio's three sons, Joseph, Charles and Emmanuel Ukpabio (pictured above) ended up allegedly killed by males with the State Security Service (SSS) on Sunday March 25th 2012 in front of their aged mom (Read Full Story HERE), who loved ones say by no means recovered through the incident. They say she died incredibly unsatisfied, sad woman sometimes past month and kept begging people to help her get justice for her young children. Which Way Naija ???

World Aids Day: Nigeria Records Decline In New Hiv Infections





Nigeria recorded 300,000 new cases in 2012., even as the country was ranked as number eight among 12 countries in the world that have recorded a decline in the new Human Immuno-deficiency Virus, HIV, infection rate. However,Benue state still leads other states in the federation in HIV prevalence with a prevalence rate of 10.7 percent,while Kebbi state, with 1.0% recorded the least prevalence rate in the country.
