Grandma Orders Grandson To Kill Grandpa, Goes On Shopping Spree With His Money

HEARTLESS grandma Janet Strickland allegedly enlisted her teenage grandson in a heinous plot to kill her husband – the kid’s 72-year-old grandpa!
William Strickland, 19, agreed to the sick scheme, and then pumped six slugs into his grandfather’s back as he waited to catch a bus for his dialysis treatment, say prosecutors.
Later, the two used the dead man’s money to go on a shopping spree – buying a flashy car, furniture, tattoos, a cell phone and more, the authorities add.
“There’s a special place in hell for people like this,” said a source. “Stone cold hearted isn’t the word for it. This is pure evil.”

Countries will start to shoot down US drones - exclusive interview with Rick Rozoff ( MUST READ)

"The US and its NATO allies, and its NATO allies are, we have to recall, all the major colonial powers that had formally divided up and ruled the African continent: Britain, France, Spain, Portugal, later on Germany and Italy, also Turkey during the Ottoman period, and this is a force that is not going back to supposedly restore order or pacify Africa again. I am sure the Africans on the ground, if not their governments, are nervous, they recollect what happened the last time these guys were there."

The world is just starting to take notice of the expansion of US drone usage worldwide. US drones are becoming increasingly larger, deadlier and greater in number (now at approximately 8,000) and pose a threat to world peace. In addition for NATO’s AFRICOM and the US, Mali is important due to its strategic location near uranium reserves, hence the recent military operations in the country, which are characterized as another “energy grab” by Voice of Russia regular contributor Rick Rozoff.

Pastor Caught With Cocaine After Fight With His Girlfriend

I wonder the kind of morals this pastor has be passing on to his congregation:
The Baypoint Community Church in Texas City is now going to be closed down after the man leading the flock was accused of drug possession and violence against his own girlfriend. Pastor Terry Gass was accused of pushing his girlfriend out of an SUV. Consequently, the bank has foreclose on the property where the church is located and take it all back.
This might be a surprising move by a financial institution, but the domestic violence incident was just the beginning of Pastor Terry’s troubles....

Ask TON: 'I Caught My Wife In Bed With My Brother' What Do I Do?

I was suspicious that my wife was having an affair - but was even more devastated to find out that the culprit was my brother.
My wife and I were school sweethearts and we’re now both 41. My brother is 36, single and a bit of a skirt-chaser. We’ve always had a love/hate relationship. He and my wife both work for my parents’ property business and I’m in Insurance.
My wife seemed to change when she hit 40. She suddenly started to have her hair done every week and would go out with her friends, but she always drove so she never got home tired.

President Goodluck Jonathan has begun moves to reconcile with former President Olusegun Obasanjo, as a means of ending the rift between them.
Jonathan and Obasanjo had fallen apart over the last few months, following critical comments made by Obasanjo about the government. In a recent interview on Cable Network News, the former president criticised Jonathan’s handling of the Boko Haram insurgency and advised him to initiate a dialogue with the extremist sect.
Obasanjo told the CNN in the interview that Jonathan had been applying less of dialogue and more of force in solving the Boko Haram issue.

Pres GEJ Claims He Had Nothing To Do With Abuja Posters

President Goodluck Jonathan today denied having a hand in the campaign posters that flooded the streets of Abuja yesterday January 1st, announcing his readiness to contest in the 2015 elections. His Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Dr Reuben Abati said those behind the posters didn't do it with the president's permission.
'Those pasting the posters are trying to express their own view. The president had stated that he will talk about the presidency from 2014. Those doing these do not have the consent of the president. What is most important now is for the president to deliver on his electioneering promise to Nigerians and not to embark on the pasting of posters. It has not come from the president. Nigerians should take the president for his word and ignore any other information to the contrary”
Do you believe them?

Deregistration: We Are Not Interested In Merging With Other Parties – PDP

Following speculations that the recent deregistration of political parties by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) would bring about several mergers among parties in the country, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) dismissed any such possibilities as far as they are concerned, saying that they are strong enough to remain a formidable force, come 2015. This was made known by the party’s National Publicity Secretary of the party, Olisa Metuh, who said that while the party was ready to accept the members of the recently deregistered parties as individuals, they are not ready to accept them as parties.

Coping With Job Loss

When 44-year-old Dele lost his job just three weeks before Christmas, his first reaction was one of panic. He had worked in a construction company for 12 years and assumed that he had a stable job for many more years. Dele was his family’s main breadwinner although his wife worked part-time. They had two children under six and the usual rent and other bills to pay.
Job loss ranks as one of life’s most challenging events and it hurts at any point during the year, but during the season of “good will to all men,” it tends to have a much more devastating effect on people when it happens at such time of the year. Some of the issues involved include adjusting your finances, looking for a new job, and coping with the emotional and social impact of your new situation. But even if you failed to anticipate this sudden change in your circumstances, here are some practical steps to take with a clear positive outlook if such happens.
Don’t panic
When you think about all your bills and the monthly expenses you have to face without a steady income, it is easy to despair. Remain calm and do not rush into any major financial decisions whilst you assess your situation. Even if you are eligible, be cautious about dipping into your retirement savings account.
It would be much easier to deal with both financially and emotionally if you’d prepared for the worst by planning ahead with an emergency fund or insurance. The importance of an emergency fund becomes glaring in situations like this. Do you have any savings? How long will it last based on your monthly bills? If you have been able to set aside say six months of your income in a high yield money market account, you will be able to settle some of your bills and relieve some financial pressure while you look for a new job. But if you have always lived from month to month, this may not be an option.
