European newborn Babies set to be Micro-chipped from May this year.

On May 2014, through Europe newborn children will be compelled to take in a subcutaneous RFID chip.
 Public clinics in the European Union are to be alerted. The chip in inquiry will be contributed with the report sheet on the newborn. This chip will also be an impressive GPS sensor that will task with a micro- disposable battery every 2 years in state clinics. GPS chip grants an edge of error of 5 meters, as a statement that it is excellent. It will be linked straight to a satellite, which will guide the networks. Students of the Lagos State University (LASU) went on the rampage on Thursday, disrupting the university's second semester examination and destroying properties in the process.
The students had closed and halted all activities Wednesday night as they protested within and in front of the school premises, while blocking the main gate and making bonfires on the Lagos-Badagry expressway.

China introduces passport control for uploading movies for Internet users



Chinese internet users who want to post videos on any local video sharing websites will have to register under their real names. This regulation only applies to Chinese video hosting sites. From now on, Chinese users will be asked to confirm their identity by presenting an ID card to the webpage's administration to be able to upload videos.

The new rule has been implemented to "prevent vulgar content, base art forms, exaggerated violence and sexual content in Internet video having a negative effect on society," China's State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television (SARFT) said on its website.

Thousands gather at US embassy in Kiev, demand to stop financing violent clashes in city



Several thousand demonstrators gathered around the US embassy in central Kiev demanding the American government to stop financing mass protests and clashes with the police.

"The US is behind everything that is happening in Kiev's downtown right now. The financing is coming from over there. This has to be stopped. That is what we came out here to say to the whole world: 'US - stop! US - there needs to be peace in Ukraine,'" said Ivan Protsenko, one of the demonstrators' leaders.

School principal, 6 other gays stoned in Bauchi court




BAUCHI — There was pandemonium at the Upper Court 4 in Anguwan Jaki, Bauchi State, yesterday, as an angry  mob almost lynched seven suspected homosexuals brought to court for trial.
One of the suspects was identified as the Principal of a Government Secondary School in the state.

The development forced security personnel at the court premises to rescue the suspects by firing gunshots in the air and using teargas to disperse the mob.
The suspects are Ibrahim Marafa, Shehu Adamu, Yusuf Adamu, Aliyu Dalhatu, Abdulmalik Tanko, Usman Sabo and Hazif Sabo Abubakar.

Union Bank building in Abuja gutted by fire, countless Naira worth of furniture was destroyed



Union Bank building in U.T.C Area 10 in Abuja was gutted by fire today, The final floor of the 3-storey building was completely razed and the favorite Abuja furniture store, Hadar Situare was also affected in the fire. Countless Naira worth of furniture was destroyed.   The fire was eventually put out by the combined team work of the Airforce fire fighters & the Federal Fire Fighters. It took seventeen trucks of water to out the fire out. The explanation for the fire could not be ascertained.

A robbery suspect, Mr Godwin Olukporibe, has confessed that he was forced to form a robbery gang when his father-in-law asked him to pay N1.5 million bride price before he could marry his pregnant girlfriend.


The suspect was arrested by the Special Anti-Robbery Squad, SARS, of the Lagos State Police Command, following a tip-off that he was in a hotel with his girlfriend in Ibadan, Oyo State, western Nigeria.

Man Kills Wife Over Whatsapp Photos Images



A 41-year-old man appeared in court yesterday facing a murder charge after he allegedly fatally assaulted his wife on New Year’s Eve accusing her of receiving a Whatsapp message accompanied by images of male s3xual organs, Zimbabwean papers report.

Thembinkosi Gumbi, who had initially pleaded guilty to charges of assault under the Domestic Violence Act, had his charge changed to murder after his wife Nyarai Moyo (28) succumbed to the assault injuries on January 5 this year.

A fisherman from New Zealand was left baffled when he caught this see-through shrimp-like creature swimming near the surface of the ocean.

Stewart Fraser was fishing with sons Conaugh and Finn 43 miles north off the North Island’s Karikari Peninsula when he spotted the translucent ‘shrimp’ floating near the top of the water.

Mr Fraser said: ‘I was in two minds whether to haul it in, but curiosity got the better of me and I decided to take a closer look.

Israel plans 261 settler properties deep in West Bank - NGO




Israel on Wednesday moved forward with plans for 261 new homes in two settlements located deep in the occupied West Bank, the Peace Now settlement watchdog said. The plans include 256 housing units in Nofei Prat settlement, between east Jerusalem and Jericho, and another five in the sprawling Ariel settlement in the north, the group said.
"The addition of 256 housing units to the small, isolated settlement of Nofei Prat dramatically changes the settlement, expanding its size and population significantly. In fact, these planned units will nearly triple the size of Nofei Prat," Peace Now said in a statement.

EU should drop language of sanctions against Ukraine – Diplomat



The European Union should stop speaking to Ukraine in the language of sanctions and use the language of support and political dialogue, Russia’s ambassador to the EU Vladimir Chizhov said at a press conference in Brussels on Wednesday, commenting on statements by some EU officials about sanctions against Ukraine.

Earlier Lithuanian Foreign Minister Linas Linkjavicus tweeted:
"Unrolling brutal scenario in Euromaidan calls for united reaction from EU. Calls for dialogue ineffective, time for targeted sanctions," Linkjavicus posted on his Twitter account.
