Police rescue drowning sèx doll from river




Police in Shandong Province, China, received calls that were reporting that a woman's body is floating in the nearby river.  A team 18 of police officers, medical workers and firefighters rushed to the scene as the drama unfolded.

They worked frantically for almost an hour to rescue what they thought was a woman drowning, the news media reported.  Hundreds of people had gathered to watch the heroic rescue.
Police stopped traffic so that the ambulance can rush the woman to the hospital as soon as she is rescued. 

But when officers finally managed to bring the drowning woman to shore, they were shocked and disappointed to discover it was an inflatable sex doll.

Man spends 11 Million Naira to look like Britney Spears



Plastic surgery today can make you look like whoever you like, man or woman.  A young man was a great fan of Britney Spears and went under the knife to prove it. Kara Nicole Hays spent approximately $70,000 to get the look of Britney Spears the news media reported.

The 26-year-old believes that the surgery cost about $30,000, the remainder went to therapy, hormones, clothing, cosmetics and everything else he needed to make the transition.  Hays said that his face is all natural and any resemblance to Spears is a lucky coincidence. "I never had facial reconstruction to look like a celebrity," he said.  

U.N. Calls To Legalize Prostitution Worldwide (Is This How To Unite Nations)



A U.N. backed commission urged to legalize prostitution worldwide. A report published by the U.N. backed World Commission on HIV and the law, recommends that nations around the world get rid of "punitive" laws against prostitution - or what it calls "consensual sex work" and decriminalize the voluntary use of injecting illegal drugs in order to combat the HIV epidemic.

The commission, which consists of 15 former heads of state, lawyers and activists against HIV AIDS was convened in 2010 by the Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon, and is co-supported by the Development Program United Nations UNAIDS Joint United Nations Program on AIDS / HIV.

Bride marries someone else as groom shows up late to the wedding



Being late for his own wedding was costly for this groom. Groom Jameel was going to marry Nagma, at 10:30 am in the area ofMuradnagardistrict in India, However the groom and his family arrived at the wedding at 6:00PM.  The bride and her family were very angry that the groom embarrassed the bride by not showing up to the wedding that they allowed the bride to marry another man.   When the groom and his family finally showed up many hours later the bride’s angry family members beat them up. The police were called to bring the situation under control.

Tragic: Okada Robbers kill Mother of Five



A 42-year old mother of five and a divorcee, Mrs Rashedatu Adebowale, has been shot dead by a 3-man robbery gang operating on a motorcycle.

The incident happened along Jonathan Coker Road beside Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC, mega station at Iju, Fagba, Lagos state, southwest Nigeria.

According to one of the sons of the deceased, Jimoh Shobowale who is about 10 years old, when the three men riding on a motorcycle came to where the deceased was selling engine oil by the roadside, they told her that they had come to collect their money and she asked them which money were they talking about and that she had only N500 on her.

Made In China (A.K.A Chinko): 200,000 Fake Balls Seized





Two hundred thousand counterfeit soccer balls originating from China have been seized at the Brazilian port of Santos, the South American country’s tax authorities said in a statement.
The balls included imitations of the Jabulani model, the ball used at the 2010 World Cup, and the Cafusa, which will be used at the Confederations Cup in Brazil in June.
Brazil’s Inland Revenue Service said the balls were apprehended at the port as part of “Operation Protected Frontiers” and would be destroyed.

About 50 per cent of primary and secondary schools students in Kaduna State take their classes under trees and other open spaces, a senior official with the state ministry of education has disclosed.
According to the officer who did not want his name in print, an assessment carried out by a non governmental organisation shows that 32.0 per cent of primary schools pupils in Kaduna State have their classes in the open air.

Laspotech student allegedly beaten to death by boyfriend

A part-time Business Administration Student of Lagos State Polytechnic, Miss Olayinde Bournes, 22,  (pictured above) has allegedly been beaten to death by her boyfriend, Abuchi Cyril.
The incident happened yesterday Thursday February 21 at Shorinmade Street, Aguda-Ogba area of Lagos State, southwest Nigeria.
According to Miss Titilayo Fagbamila, friend of the deceased girl, she always complained to her that her boyfriend, Abuchi always beat her at the slightest provocation.
She said that on Thursday when the tragedy occurred, Abuchi invited Olayinde to his house along Shorinmade Street, to see his travel documents. Titilayo said nobody knew what happened when the lovers were together but it is believed that they had a misunderstanding which may have led to a fight.

The Blade Runner: Murder suspect, Oscar Pistorius, granted bail




The blade runner was granted bail by a South African court this afternoon after a judge ruled he was not a flight risk. He will be free to go home until the start of his trial for shooting dead girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp on Thursday February 14th. His bail was set at one million rand, with one hundred thousand rand paid immediately. He's also not allowed to drink alcohol or return to the home were he killed Reeva. Bail conditions include a ban on leaving Pretoria. The next hearing in the case has been set for 4 June. Wow!!!

Ambassador Cocodia, who was accompanied by his Second Secretary, Ibrahim Yusuf, was received by the Editor of The Monitor, Kagiso Sekokonyane, and the News Editor of both newspapers, Douglas Tsiako, standing in for the Editor of Mmegi, Tshireletso Motlogelwa, who was attending to other matters.

Armed group kills 10 in central Nigeria - official





Feb 22 (Reuters) - Armed men shot or hacked to death 10 people in a village in central Nigeria's Plateau state, a government official and witness said on Friday, in a region with a long history of ethnic violence.
Men carrying rifles and machetes stormed Kogom village on Thursday afternoon, killing six adults and four children, said Habila Musa, who witnessed the attack. He said some of the killers were dressed in military uniform.

LAGOS, Feb 22 (Reuters) - Nestle Nigeria aims to triple its sales in Africa's most populous nation to 350 billion naira ($2.2 bln) in 10 years as the consumer market for food and cereal booms.
The local unit of Swiss company Nestle SA, the world's biggest food group, will invest 100 billion naira ($635 mln) over the same period to achieve its sales target, chief financial officer Martin Kruegel told Reuters on Friday.

Nigeria Signs Power-Company Sales Pacts With Siemens, Transcorp



Nigeria signed deals for the sale of 15 state power companies to buyers including Siemens AG (SIE), Korea Electric Power Corp. (KEP) and Transnational Corp. of Nigeria Plc, the West African nation’s privatization agency said.
The buyers now have 15 days to pay 25 percent of the amounts they bid, the Abuja-based Bureau of Public Enterprises said today in an e-mailed statement. The Nigerian government sold 10 power distributors and five generation companies in September and October. Full payment is due within 90 days.

Iran denies allegations of organizing spy cell in Nigeria

Iran denied on Friday Nigerian allegations that it had trained militants arrested in Nigeria on charges of planning attacks on U.S. and Israeli targets there.
Deputy Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian said such allegations were "made up as the result of the ill will of the enemies of the two countries' good relations", Iranian state television reported.
"Iran and Nigeria have friendly and close relations and despite the vast efforts of the two countries' enemies in recent years relations and cooperations have always improved," he said.
