APC calls plot to force Amaechi to resign ”last desperate act”




The All Progressives Congress (APC) has condemned the reported plot to abduct, blackmail and force Gov. Chibuike Amaechi of Rivers to resign from office, calling it the last desperate act of those who are bent on getting rid of the Governor at all costs.

In a statement issued in Lagos on Sunday by its Interim National Publicity Secretary, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, the party said that the plot, which was exposed by the Rivers Peoples Forum, should be taken very seriously, against the background of a similar occurrence in the past and the outcry by Gov. Amaechi that his life is in danger.

A 28-year-old okada rider, Mr Tope Daisi, currently being held by the police in Oyo State over the alleged defilement of a five-year-old girl, was said to have offered the girl N5 which the girl used to buy sweet after the act!

Caught In The Act: US Secretary of State Kerry caught using fake photos to fuel Syrian conflict




Secretary of State John Kerry opened his speech Friday by describing the horrors victims of the chemical weapon attack suffered, including twitching, spasms and difficulty breathing. Attempting to drive the point home, Kerry referenced a photograph used by the BBC illustrating a child jumping over hundreds of dead bodies covered in white shrouds. The Secretary of State forgot to mention, however, that this photo was taken during US intervention in Iraq back in 2003.

Self-defense has become act of war for the U.S. and NATO – Rick Rozoff

R.I.P: Hip hop act Damino Damoche shot dead at LASU this afternoon



Rising hip hop act, Olaniyan Damilola, popular known as Damino Damoche, was shot dead this afternoon at Lagos State University Ojo gate by people suspected to be cultist.  Damoshe was shot twice in the head and hand after he finished writing a test at faculty of management science.
