Female Teachers Banned From Wearing Trousers in Kogi State



Kogi State government has banned female teachers in the public primary and secondary schools from wearing trousers during school hours. The state Commissioner for Education, Mrs. Grace Elebiyo during a press briefing on Wednesday warned that any female teacher caught violating the order will face disciplinary action.
Elebiyo said this new order came after some female teachers in the state were caught violating their professional code of dressing.
She asserted that Kogi State Ministry of Education would no longer tolerate indecent dressing to schools.

Wonders Shall Never End: Man Caught Having Live Séx With Female Corpse





A 29-year old man, going by the name Nura Mustapha, is currently explaining to homicide detectives at the State Criminal Investigative Department, Panti, Yaba, Lagos State, why he was allegedly caught having séwith the corpse of a lady identified as Faith Akin.
Mustapha was arrested early in March after an attendant at the Green Star Hotel, Alaba-Rago, raised an alarm that he would not allow the corpse to be retrieved.
Police officers identified the corpse of the lady as Faith Akin, a resident of Ondo State, who visited her mother in Lagos.

South Korea Gets First Female President, Park Geun-Hye




Park Geun-hye the daughter of the late dictator Park Chung-hee, has become South Korea’s first female president. Park, the 60-year-old leader of the conservative Saenuri Party, defeated 59-year-old liberal challenger Moon Jae-in — once jailed for opposing her father’s rule — by a margin of about 3.5%.  on Wednesday. “Park Geun-hye has made history. The keen contest that saw an unprecedented voter turnout of 75.8% can do any democracy proud,” Vishnu Prakash, Indian ambassador to South Korea, said after exit polls when a majority of the votes had been counted.

Nigerian Female Singer Allegedly Stabbed By Landlord’s Son





Tiwa ‘Tiwabanks’ Bankole, one of Nigeria’s promising female rappers/singer who sang ‘olenle’, has been stabbed, allegedly, by her landlord’s son on Monday.
The sonorous singer reportedly had a misunderstanding with her landlord’s son simply identified as Tobi in the afternoon only for him to return at night to finish what was started in the day.

He allegedly barged into her apartment, which is located around Iyana-Ipaja area of Lagos State, and inflicted some injuries on her with a broken bottle. Tobi, who is said to be notoriously known around the neighbourhood, reportedly fled the scene leaving Tiwa in a pool of her own blood before she was rushed to the hospital by concerned neighbours.

Muslim Leader Wants Veil For Female Students




Osogbo – Sheik Salaudeen Olayiwola, the President of Osun Muslim Community, has urged the state government to approve the use of hijab (veil) for Muslim female student in secondary schools.

Olayiwola, who made the call at a news conference on the Hijrah celebration slated for Nov. 15, said there was no secrecy attached to the use of veil in Islam.

Hijrah is the migration of the Holy Prophet Muhammad from Mecca to Medina when his life was threatened by idol worshippers.

Students Kidnap Female Colleague, Assault, Kill And Bury Her In A Forest




BENIN—TWO students of Federal Polytechnic, Auchi, Edo State, Henry Edewo, 21 and Emmanuel Isikhuime, have been arrested by the Police for kidnapping, molesting and murdering a female student, one Mercy Peter, 21, also a student of the institution.



They were alleged to have buried their victim in a shallow grave in a forest at Ugbor village, Oredo Local Government Area of Edo State, after killing her.
