How to successfully bring back our girls

Although it is very unfortunate that I don’t have all the resources required to boldly march into Sambisa Forest and successfully bring back our girls, I so much appreciate the unflinching focus and unrelenting effort of Mr. President as well as the whole world at large towards bringing back our girls.

Our girls are spending longer time than expected in this evil forest and the more time they spend, the more exposed they are to the danger and unfair torture of these sub humans led by the maniac called Abubakar Shekau. Even though it is very obvious that Boko Haram has to be completely eliminated from our once peaceful country, I am still of the opinion that instant or forceful attack on this sect is not the best approach towards ensuring that we safely bring back our girls as I believe wisdom is profitable to direct.

Photos: FMC Doctors March to the street in Owerri over unpaid wages #BringBackOurMoney

Doctors at Federal Medical Centre Owerri today protested over unpaid wages and said they'll soon go for indefinite strike. The doctors complained that the FMC management has formed a habit of not paying salaries and entitlements, and with so many deductions when they eventually pay.

One of the protesters said the residents haven't been paid September 2013 salary. The house officers who worked for 3 months received payment for just two months with so many deductions. They say this isn't fair considering the health risks they're subjected to on a daily basis and the fact that they're always  far away from their families on call only to have their salaries cut in half. Meet the only Nigerian journalist with access to Boko Haram flown home to negotiate with Terrorist

Nigerian journalist, Ahmad Salkida, who previously worked for Daily Trust and Premium Times and reported extensively on Boko Haram, fled Nigeria to Dubai 2 years ago after being accused to be a Boko Haram sympathizer. He explained he fled after'his life and that of his family became endangered'after security agencies started to mistake his in-depth reporting on the terrorist group as proof of his closeness to them. He went underground for many weeks before finally fleeing Nigeria. Salkida was perhaps the only Nigerian journalist/civilian to have access to Boko Haram, and he explained during the time that he'd rejected Boko Haram's many requests for him to publish exclusive interviews and materials for them.

Anyway according to new reports, the Nigerian government flew him home 2-3 weeks ago to negotiate with Boko Haram on their behalf, since he's the only real civilian who has allegedly seen Boko Haram leader Abubakar Shekau and emerge alive. He reportedly came home after the Nigerian government assured him that he will not be arrested. (See his tweets).  After the break.

Paedoaphile: Teacher who defiled minor claims one of them made passes at him

A 38 year old nursery school teacher who was arrested yesterday for defiling three minors says he's not to blame so much because one of the minors made passes at him. Olayinka Oluwadare Folarin, (pictured above) took the young girls to the school toilet where he sexually molested them. Speaking during his interrogation yesterday, the paedoaphile said a little girl was the first to make a pass at him
"One of them made advances at me. You know how children play with you in a funny way. This thing is beyond me.” he said
Mr Folarin, who has been arrested before for molesting children, said he believes he's under some demonic attack that pushes him to commit the act and so shouldn't be judged
"I have been doing this for a long time. I feel terribly bad each time I did it but I could not stop it. Why don’t you find a way of helping me. Is this meant to expose me? Some people should just think and reason with me. The person who has not sinned before should cast the first stone. If God did not forsake some people, I know he would not forsake me. I am a changed person now.”

Video: Al qaeda are fighting us, we know where Chibok girls are, but won't use force to rescue them - Nigerian Military

Nigeria's Chief of Defense Staff Air Marshall Alex Badeh today said that the Nigeria military has been able to locate the 200+ girls abducted in Chibok on April 14th but will not use force to rescue them because that could put the girls in great danger as the insurgents could kill them.

He revealed this today while addressing a group of protesters, the Citizens Initiative for Security Awareness, outside the Defence Headquarters in Abuja. He said the military knows what they are doing and should be allowed to continue their work
"We want our girls back. The military can do it, but where they are held, can we go with force? The good news for the girls is that we know where they are but we can't tell you. Just leave us alone. We are working. We will bring the girls back" He said

The Bitter truth el-Rufai & Ribadu should tell the North

Anytime the likes of Prof. Ango Abdullahi, Dr Junaid Mohammed, Mallam Adamu Ciroma, Lamido of Adamawa, Mr. Anthony Sani or any of the members of the Arewa Consultative Forum or Northern Elders Forum speak on national issues, there are some things that are constant in their speeches: Arrogance, condescension, threats, etc. If the matter has to do with national resources, two critical “words” must be present in their speeches: “Sharing” and “allocation.”
That makes you wonder: Don’t these “elders” feel that they are insulting the North by their fixation on “sharing?” Don’t they feel they are insulting the North by portraying the region as incapable of taking care of itself? Don’t the younger generation feel ridiculed by this unenviable image foisted on them by these elders? Most times when these comments fly around, the lone dissenting voice you would hear is that of Col. Abubakar Umar (retd.), a former Governor of Kaduna State.

Niger Delta may cease to exist, Edwin Clark warns (Greedy Europeans and Americans ,sellout Nigeria leaders)

Greedy Europeans and Americans ,sellout Nigeria leaders!!This is for you!!

A National Conference delegate, Edwin Clark, has warned that unless something urgent is done to salvage the Niger Delta environment; the region might soon cease to exist.
“If we do not do something, one day, we will be wiped out, while the rest of the people will be enjoying the things from the area,” Mr. Clark warned.
“Our environment has been polluted. We sit on top of water in the Niger Delta, yet we do not have water to drink. When I was small, we used to put a calabash outside and fishes will jump in. Now, my people eat ice fish. There are no more farm lands, no fruits. We have lost everything in the Niger Delta.
What do you think?

US imperialism is the real terrorist for African people and the root of terrorism in Africa.

US-NATO backed terrorists in the campaign to destabilize Syria exposes US imperialism’s role in the proliferation of terrorism in Africa.

The vision of a liberated and decolonized Africa promoted by Kwame Nkrumah cannot occur if US imperialism is allowed to exist in Africa.
