Common man In Nigeria is already living in hell; he cannot lose anything more than this hell.” - Sule Lamido

Nigeria will not break. It is too weak to break. Who will break it? The ordinary person in Jigawa or the ordinary person in Sokoto or the ordinary person in Bayelsa?  Is it the Ibo vulcaniser or the Yoruba woman that is selling kerosene by the roadside or the Okada man in Delta? They don’t have the capacity to unite because they are burdened by poverty.   We have taken away from them their dignity, their self esteem, their pride and self worth so that they cannot even organise. Up there, we (elite) unite, we sing and so we will never allow Nigeria to break because once it breaks, we will lose.

But the common man loses nothing. What is he losing? He is already living in hell; he cannot lose anything more than this hell.”

––Says Sule Lamido, Governor of Jigawa State

Check out 7 Reasons Women Lose Respect For Men

I just thought I should share this with NL dudes…If a woman loses respect for you as a man, she will also lose attraction and begin to fall out of love with you. It might’ve taken you a long time to find “the one” that you’re now in love with, but unless you’re careful about avoiding the following mistakes, she’ll soon be thinking about backing out of the relationship for good. Let’s have some clues…
1. Belittling Her in Public
Playful teasing each other in private can be a fun aspect to your relationship, especially if it’s kept light and you both have understand each other’s sense of humor. Too often though, some men will belittle their woman in front of their friends or family in a way that she feels is cruel and sincerely harmful to her confidence and sense of pride and comfort in front of others.

Dollar may lose status as the world’s currency

Though the US dollar continues to reign as the foreign reserve currency of choice, a new International Monetary Fund analysis shows that the currency has slumped to a 15-year low, heightening concerns that it may lose that status.

While the dollar currently constitutes 62 percent of the $6 trillion in foreign holdings by the world’s central banks, when a historical view is taken into account, Dick Bove, vice president of equity research at Rafferty Capital Markets says the dollar’s actual percentage of total money supply worldwide has gone from 90 percent in 1952 to about 15 percent today.
Bove, like many other analysts, believes that the rise of the Chinese currency, the yuan, is at the expense of the US dollar’s dominance as a safe haven.

Brain Drain: Why Nigeria is bound to lose young talents to other countries

Standard Liege’s Nigerian striker, Imoh Ezekiel

Young players who have never played for any Nigerian national team are thinking of playing for their countries of abode because of the …

The news broke early this week that Standard Liege’s Nigerian striker, Imoh Ezekiel was desirous of changing nationality to Belgium. The 19-year old former 36 Lions striker has scored 15 goals for Liege this season and his team is almost sure to be playing in Europe next season as their playoff form has been very good.
Goal.com sought out diverse opinions on why such a promising youngster would have decided to pledge his allegiance to Belgium and not Nigeria, his country of birth.
The first question that was asked was – are there more benefits to be gained playing for the ‘Red Devils’ as the Belgian national team is called than playing for the Super Eagles, who just became African champions once again last February?
