Boko Haram Cure member reveals to T.B Joshua, failed plans to bomb the church
A member of the dreaded Boko Haram sect confessed before Pastor T.B. Joshua of The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations (SCOAN) today, revealing how their plan to bomb the popular church in Lagos was thwarted.
In a broadcast beamed live via the Christian station, Emmanuel TV, late into the afternoon, Joshua announced to the congregation that a young man had a confession to make.
"My name is Mustapha. I come from Yola, Adamawa State. I am a member of Boko Haram,”he began, sending the congregation into uproar. “Boko Haram is a cult. We have killed many souls,” he confessed.

See Student Who Confesses To Have Infected 324 Men With HIV (PHOTO)
A 19-year-old girl in Kenya has reportedly confessed to have deliberately infected 324 men with the deadly HIV virus, saying she is on a mission to destroy the society by infecting 2000 more by the end of this year.
On the list of 324 she claims to have infected, 156 are students, 3 politicians and the rest are married men, lecturers, lawyers, some celebrities among others. She says not a day passes before she has s3x with at least 4 men and without protection.
The unnamed woman also adds that she is on a revenge mission because oahu is the same men that destroyed her life by infecting her with AIDS. She is only 19 yrs and she is in 2nd year.

President GEJ's ₦9bn jet develops technical problem in Minna
The presidential jet, Nigerian Air Force 001 (5N-FGT), had earlier conveyed Jonathan to Minna for the -Peoples Democratic Party’s North-Central rally which held at the Trade Fair Centre, Minna.
At the end of the rally, the President returned to the airport in company with top government officials, PDP state governors and party chiefs for a trip to Sokoto, from where he was scheduled to return to Abuja.

50 gunmen attack Enugu government house
According to reports, 50 gunmen who arrived in 7 buses attempted to attack Enugu State Government House in the early hours of yesterday Saturday March 8th but didn't succeed as security personnel attached to the Government House engaged them in a shoot out, preventing them from gaining entry.
One gunman was killed and three others arrested in the shootout that lasted till 4:30am but no security personnel was killed or injured, this is according to the Chief Press Secretary to Governor Sullivan Chime, Mr. Chukwudi Achife, who confirmed the incident.
Kidnapped Syria nuns 'expected' to be freed - reports
A group of nuns kidnapped from a Syrian town in December were expected to be released thanks to Lebanese-Qatari mediation, a monitoring group and Lebanese media reports said on Sunday.
The 13 nuns and three maids were kidnapped from the famed Christian hamlet of Maalula and taken to the nearby Syrian rebel town of Yabrud, where they have been held by Al-Qaeda affiliate Al-Nusra Front.
About 40 hurt in California after stage collapse during school musical
A stage at a Southern California high school has collapsed during a student event wounding up to forty people, authorities say.
Police, firefighters and medics responded to a call shortly before 11 pm PST Saturday after the stage gave way at Servite High School, according to the Anaheim Fire Department.
The dispatch supervisory office told The Associated Press that 30-40 people were transported to hospitals. Most of the injuries are reported to be minor and none is life threatening.

Fuel scarcity: NNPC supplies 209 million litres
The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation has said it supplied over 209 million litres of fuel to Lagos and other neighbouring cities in the last 24 hours. According to the corporation, over 209 million litres of premium motor spirit otherwise called petrol was discharged in Lagos ports in the last 24 hours. A 42-year-old father, Pedro Anegbe, has told an Ebute Meta Magistrate’s Court that a spirit asked him to rape his 15-year-old daughter to get a job. He said the voice ordred him to rape the girl shortly after he lost his job and was idle at home. The State Criminal Investigation Department, Yaba, Lagos State has released popular musician, Obesere, who was accused of raping a 29-year-old student of the Polytechnic Ibadan.
Obesere, whose real name is Abass Akande, was invited for interrogation at the Department 14 of the SCID.
Obesere, popularly called Papa Tosibe, was alleged to have raped the victim at his Okota home. Policemen at the SCID told our correspondent that the musician was invited to the SCID on Wednesday and released immediately.

“We invited him based on the petition we received and he has written a statement. He said the woman was his girlfriend and she had come to visit him at home.

FFK re-arraigned for alleged ₦100m money laundering
Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, was today March 6th re-arraigned for alleged N100 million money laundering. Premium Times reports that Fani-Kayode told a Federal High court in Lagos that he was not guilty of all 40 counts of money laundering instituted against him by EFCC
The trial judge, Rita Ofili-Ajumogobia, fixed March 10, 17, 18 and 19 for the trial. The EFCC is accusing Mr. Fani-Kayode, who was also a former Minister of Culture and Tourism, of money laundering. The commission had amended its 47-count charge, totalling N230 million, to a 40-count charge of N100 million.
Today Mr. Fani-Kayode sat patiently in the dock because the court registrar slowly read out all of the 40 counts of money laundering against him. He responded “not guilty” to all of them.
Troops stop planned Boko Haram strike in Borno, eliminate 20 of them.
Boko Haram gunmen returned late last night to Mafa and Ajiri villages in Borno State to attack the villagers but this time they met their match. Soldiers guarding the villages and neighbouring ones opened fire on the insurgents, killing at least 20 of them. But instead of retreating, eye witnesses said the Boko Haram members came in their hundreds and engaged the military men in a gun battle.

Couple caught in Abeokuta for apparently fighting bare in public areas
The accused, Kehinde Soetan, 37, and Aderinsola Lawal, 28, were arraigned for breach of public peace. The duo, however, pleaded not guilty to the charge.
The Police Prosecutor, Augustine Ozimini, said that the offence was committed on Tuesday at 2.30 p.m. at Obada Oko area of Abeokuta. He alleged that the couple fought and tore their clothes in public.
