Man dragged to court For Refusing To Wear Con*dom During S*X With 'Call-Girl'



A man on trial for rape for allegedly refusing to wear a condom on the third time he had s*x with a woman in a one-night stand has told the jury it was 100 per cent consensual.

Imomotimi Wilson, 30, met his alleged victim in a pub and she agreed to go back to his house but told him she would only have s*x if he used protection.

They had consensual s*x twice but on the third occasion, the victim claimed that Wilson failed to
use a condom.

How Herdsman attacked and forcefully amputate Farmer's hand over Cow



A farmer, Mallam Sani Abubakar who is a resident of Maduba Village of Zaki local government area of Bauchi state had his right hand severed from its wrist following an aftermath of a heated argument that ensued between him and a herdsman over cattle grazing on his farm.  It was gathered that the unfortunate incident occurred when the victim who happens to be the owner of the farm attempted to drive away the cattle from his farm which made the herdsman to pick an offence over his action.

4 Killed, Many Injured By Ondo State Deputy Governor’s Convoy



The convoy of the Deputy Governor of Ondo state, Alhaji Ali Olanusi, was in a ghastly road accident in the state earlier today on Aponmu-Owena along Ondo road.

The accident reportedly killed four persons including a teenager traveling with a traditional ruler. A white Toyota Camry conveying a traditional ruler, the Osomakinde of Ife Tuntun in Osun State, Oba Taofik Olaposi was traveling from Osun state to Akure when it was caught in the over speeding convoy of the deputy governor.

Ex-Spain national team manager, Luis Aragones dies



Former Spain national team manager Luis Aragones has died, aged 75. Aragones led Spain to their first major trophy at an international tournament with victory in the 2008 European Championship.
He also managed several of Spain’s top clubs, including Barcelona and Atletico Madrid where he won the La Liga title in 1977. As a player, he scored 172 goals in 372 games when at Atletico and represented his country on 13 occasions. The Spanish Football Federation issued a statement that “expressed its grief and shock at the death of Luis Aragones”.

Lagos State Governor, Mr Babatunde Fashola (SAN) on Friday joined other notables in the legal profession to honour a Judge of the Lagos High Court, Justice Oludotun Adefope-Okojie, at her book launch, re-emphasizing the need for continous training and legal scholarship for members of the Bar and the Bench.

The Governor who spoke at the Main Auditorium of the Nigeria Law School, Victoria Island at the launch of the book titled: “Civil Litigation-A Quick Reference Guide to Substantive Law and Procedure”, added that it was only through legal scholarship that reported cases of conflicting judgments such as those highlighted by the book reviewer, Professor Yemi Osinbajo could be prevented.

16 Local Govt Chairmen, 194 Councillors disown PDP in Kwara



The tide of party defection isn't anywhere near over as 16 Local Govt Chairmen and 194 Councillors  have defected to the ruling opposition party, the All Progressive Congress, APC. The defectees were elected on the platform of PDP.

Announcing their defection today, the Chairman, ALGON, Kwara State chapter (under whose aegis they announced their defection) Mr. Abdulateef Okandeji said failure of the national leaders of the PDP to listen to their grievances is the main reason for their defection.

The State Criminal Investigation Department, Eleweran, Ogun State, has detained two Chinese nationals, Mike Jackson and Tony Jackson, for allegedly brutalising Adeleke Owolabi, an employee of their company, Jivan Plastic Company.


According to Punch, the victim, Adeleke Owolabi said he had just been hired by Mike to be a marketer in the northern part of the country. Only for Mike and his cousin, Tony Jackson, to brutalise him during an argument in Mike’s office.

Soldiers Bombard Ondo Hospital, Attack Workers



Soldiers numbering about 20 allegedly stormed the General Hospital Ore, in Odigbo Local Government area of Ondo state on Wednesday afternoon, attacking the staff.

According to report, the soldiers allegedly invaded the hospital because the management rejected the corpse of one of their colleagues who lost his life at a peace keeping mission in one of the Northern states. The corpse was brought on Tuesday night with the intention of depositing it in the hospital's morgue but the hospital management said the mortuary was already congested and there was no more space to keep the corpse.

Another Nollywood Actor Kicked the Bucket.



Another veteran Nollywood actor, Charles Warren died yesterday, Thursday night. It had been gathered that the actor, at night, complained of severe chest pains and was rushed to a healthcare facility where he was confirmed dead.   His first major break was a video titled “Mark of the Beast” which featured Majek Fashek in 2001.  He was among the script writers  for “Dear Mother.” The first son of the family and only son. He's survived with a father, mother and 5 sisters.

The Governor of Lagos State Babatunde Raji Fashola is under fire again, this time for a jump.  According to the tweet of OccupyNigeria, the PDP slams Gov. Fashiola for jumping road demarcation
The tweet also noted that the ruling party addresses LASTMA, asking to prosecute the Governor for violation of traffic law.
