Soldiers numbering about 20 allegedly stormed the General Hospital Ore,
in Odigbo Local Government area of Ondo state on Wednesday afternoon,
attacking the staff.
According to report, the soldiers allegedly
invaded the hospital because the management rejected the corpse of one
of their colleagues who lost his life at a peace keeping mission in one
of the Northern states. The corpse was brought on Tuesday night with the
intention of depositing it in the hospital's morgue but the hospital
management said the mortuary was already congested and there was no more
space to keep the corpse.
