Ukraine's opposition asks for truce till morning



Opposition leader Arseny Yatsenyuk asked Ukraine's President Viktor Yanukovich for a truce till morning.

The leader of the Ukrainian Batkivshchyna (Fatherland) opposition party, Arseniy Yatsenyuk, has asked President Viktor Yanukovich for a truce until morning.
Yatsenyuk appealed to Yanukovich while speaking from a stage on Maidan amid a standoff between armed protesters and police.

A former Sports Editor of defunct Daily Times has hit hard times in the USA and needs assistance. This is his story as posted by his friend Azuka Jebose Molokwu.

In 1990, at the age of 31, I abandoned my job as the sports editor of Nigeria’s first evening daily paper, Evening Times, a subsidiary of THE DAILY TIMES of Nigeria. I relocated to United States to further my education and seek professional excellence with available opportunities in the world’s free press. I arrived Houston Texas, naïve and timid, with no formal training, information or survival guide kit to a migrant’s settlement in America, seeking all things bright and beautiful that “Yankee” had to offer. It’s “God’s own country”.

Governor Orji rewards youth corper with car for keeping virginity till marriage




THE Abia State Governor, Theodore Orji, has commended the Purity Organisation for promoting purity among youths and called on singles to strive to keep their virginity, which he described as their enduring priceless legacy.

The governor spoke in Umuahia on Wednesday while welcoming to his office the winner of the 2013 World Purity Queen, Mrs. Nwanyieze Prosper, who also won the car prize donated by the Purity Organisation, as a reward for maintaining her virginity till marriage.

“I challenge our youths to jealously preserve their virginity until they get married as the benefits of chastity are far reaching,“ he said.

'He beat me till I lost my first pregnancy' - Ibrahim Chatta's ex reveals




The recently married actor said in an interview this week that he only hit his ex-girlfriend and mother of his child, Yinka Solomon, just once, but the lady is telling a different story. She says he beat her so much she lost her first pregnancy. What she told

We met in 2007. We started living together right from 2008, he was my first love. I have  never dated any other guy in my life. He dis-flowered me, that made me submit my self to him, hoping that when ever he has money we can do introduction and other things.
He was a womanizer, a gold digger, he collected all the money in my Account before my eyes was opened. When he saw that I didn’t have money again, he started misbehaving, bringing women into the house.
I had my first pregnancy in 2007, but due to constant beating, I lost the pregnancy. I had another one in 2008 and gave birth Feb 2009.
