Cancer Patient Debbie Osarere's Surgery Successful In US

Nearly all of you'll remember Debbie, the 28 year old lady who had been diagnosed with Cancer couple of years ago. N6million raised on her behalf online this past year mostly through blogs for her  to be treated in the US. She has had her breast surgery and her breasts were completely removed after 12months of chemotherapy. The breasts removed will be replaced with implants and Debbie will be back again to Nigeria, once that's done. Thank God for making #savedebbie a success.

TB JOSHUA HEALS HIV/AIDS PATIENT

Recently you may have read the exciting news that a 2.5 year old girl has been cured of HIV. What struck our attention when reading the articles was the fact that this girl is reported to be the second person in history to have been cured of HIV. Here is how some of the big news agencies are reporting it.
Researchers say the only other documented case of an HIV cure is that of Timothy Brown, known as the “Berlin patient.” In 2007, Brown, an HIV-positive American living in Germany, was battling both leukemia and HIV when he underwent a bone marrow transplant that cured not only his cancer but his HIV. CNN
Dr Persaud thinks her patient, a two-and-a-half-year-old girl whose identity is confidential, has joined Timothy Brown, a man known to many as the “Berlin patient”, as a human being who was once definitively infected with HIV and now no longer is. Economist

Cancer patient Funmi Lawal loses one arm to cancer, needs your help

Funmi Lawal is the UNILAG law graduate who was diagnosed with malignant sarcoma, a kind of cancer at the shoulder region. We raised money for her on LIB last August...she was the one Don Jazzy donated N2million to. You can read more about her HERE.

Funmi was able, through your kindness, to raise the money she needed for her treatment and went for her surgery in the UK last year. She contacted me today with the news that her surgery was successful but her left arm had to be amputated to save her life. See Funmi's email below. Please read...
I want to thank the people of Nigeria for their donations, I am really grateful. I underwent the surgery at the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital Birmingham. It was done three different times; the 11th, 12th and 18th.
The surgery was very successful, glory be to God that I am alive today and there is no trace of cancer in my body again. But my left hand was amputated because it was the best thing to do in order to save my life and prevent the cancer from spreading.
Read the rest after the break...but please be warned, there's a photo there that some of you might find disturbing. Continue...
