Egypt Air Reacts to Joshua Abdul-Azeez's Story



Vanguard investigations at Egypt Air Head office where Mr Kunle Abdul-Azeez purchased his ticket revealed that there has been palpable fear about what Abdulazeez’s guardians would do next after the visit of his uncle, Mr Toju Gbenebichie, to Egypt Air office.

Vanguard sought to speak with Mr Khaled El Rafie, General Manager, Lagos, Egypt Air, but was told that he traveled and will be back later in the day. But members of staff of Egypt Air told Vanguard that the entire organization was very remorseful about the incident especially as it involved a 17 year old boy.

NBC Reacts, 'We Didn’t Ban Any Video'



The Nigerian Broadcast Commission (NBC) we learnt placed a NTBB ban on some new sets of music videos recently.
It was reported that the banned videos include P Square (Alingo), Wande Coal (Go Low), Timaya(Bum Bum), Flavour (Shake) for being ‘suggestive and provocative’. Others include D’Prince(Take Banana), Goldie (Ski Bobo), Chuddy K (Brazilian Hair) and Tillaman (Koma Roll).
 Owing to what was obtainable from the NBC quarters today, the said story was said to be hoax as the body that monitors or censors these products has denied banning any video.

“We are shocked beyond imagination” – PDP reacts to Governor Yakowa’s death





The National headquarters of the Peoples Democratic Party has confirmed the death of Governor Patrick Yakowa.  Below is full text of the statement.   “The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has expressed utter shock and devastating grief at the news of the death of the Executive Governor of Kaduna State, Mr. Patrick Ibrahim Yakowa and other prominent Nigerians, including the former National Security Adviser, General Owoye Azazi in a helicopter crash today. ” Our great Party is shocked beyond imagination and no words can adequately give expression to the depth of our grief. What a colossal loss! “

Ojukwu’s Son Reacts: "The Will is a fake document" –Emeka (Jnr)





The controversy trailing the Will of late Biafran leader, Odumegwu Ojukwu continued yesterday with Emeka Jnr who was read as the first son describing the document as fake. He dismissed the Will presented by Barr Emeka Onyemelukwe, contesting that he is a private counsel to Ambassador Bianca Ojukwu and not that of late Emeka Ojukwu.
