Samsung & Etisalat partners Union Bank to launch 24-month device finance scheme

Samsung Mobile, a division of Samsung Electronics West Africa, in partnership with Etisalat and Union Bank of Nigeria Plc last week announced the commencement of flexible payment plans for its customers to purchase high-end smartphone devices on instalments at select Etisalat Experience Centres nationwide.
The scheme entitled; Get a Smart Device with Ease, which will run on Etisalat Samsung devices is scheduled to commence on November 1st, 2013. Samsung device financing option offers customers the opportunity to own their preferred smart devices such as Galaxy Note 8.0 (tablet), Galaxy S4, Galaxy Mega, Galaxy Note 3, and Galaxy S4 Zoom with the option of spreading payments over a 24-month period.

US probably to launch strike against Syria on Friday night - Western Media ( War Designers)

Any US strike against Syria is "likely to last hours not days" and probably would not come before the British Parliament votes on military action Thursday, a senior US defense official said.
Sources tell Fox that a strike would be led by the U.S. Navy and its assets positioned in the Eastern Mediterranean and that it would be limited in scope.

Gunmen launch fresh attack on police barracks in Borno, chanting Allahu Akbar

Barely a week after the military, police and prison formations in Bama, Borno State were attacked by Boko Haram gunmen, police barracks in the outskirts of the township were attacked by the terror suspects with Improvised Explosive Devices, IEDs, and petrol bombs in the early hours of yesterday.

An anonymous female resident of the barracks said in a telephone chat: “The gunmen came on motorcycles and tricycles at about 3 a.m. and started chanting Allahu Akbar(God is great), before detonating the bombs that triggered the burning of these houses. We had to flee in the night.

North Korea To Launch Missile

North Korea has completed preparations for a mid-range missile launch tomorrow from its east coast, officials in Seoul have revealed just hours after foreigners living in South Korea were warned to quit the country.  The worrying warning came as speculation heightened that North Korea is planning to pull its ambassador out of the UK after a shipping container was pictured outside the London embassy.

Boxes were seen being loaded onto a large lorry parked outside the pariah state’s embassy – an ordinary home in Ealing, west London.

A group of four young Nigerian entrepreneurs have launched an innovative mobile app which you can use to buy Inter-state bus tickets easily. The app is called Tiketmobile, according to the founders:

Tiketmobile was first conceived and built at Start-up Weekend Lagos in September 2011. Between then and now, we have iterated a number of times on our platform, strategy and offering. If the user is visiting from a mobile phone, they are automatically redirected there.
