I’m not interested in 2015 presidency – Amaechi

Governor Rotimi Amaechi of Rivers State has said he is not interested in 2015 presidency.
He said the plan by his detractors to paint him black before his colleagues prior to the Nigeria Governors’ Forum election was the reason why some people printed his posters and pasted them in some parts of the country.
Amaechi, who spoke with our correspondent on the telephone on Friday, said those behind the posters thought that his colleagues would be angry before the NGF election and think that he wanted to use the office for selfish reasons.

2015 Presidency: BNC Vows To Stop Jonathan Unless

Benin National Congress, BNC, a socio-cultural organisation in Edo State, has urged President Goodluck Jonathan not to consider running for the 2015 presidential election, if he fails to find solution to insecurity and crisis in the power sector.
President of BNC, Mr. Aiyamenkhue Edokpolo, in his paper entitled Nigeria: Nation-State in Dire Need of Patriots, at the 2012 Merit Award ceremony organised by the group in Benin City, accused the political class of abandoning public institutions for selfish reasons, adding that kidnapping and restiveness were a fall-out of mis-governance.
