Tarence Mitchell: Teen, 18, Nabbed for Killing His MALE Lover, 27, with a Steak Knife

A star Connecticut high school football player trying to break it off with his older lover stabbed the man to death during a tussle outside the teen’s home.  Tarence Mitchell (pictured), 18, stabbed Ronald Taylor Jr., 27, five times with a steak knife – including at least once in the back – during an argument in Bloomfield on the night of November 21, 2013, Thursday.

The murderer met the deceased about two years ago through his stepmother, and frequently visited his house, where Taylor supplied the teen with alcohol and marijuana. While Mitchell said he was interested in being friends, Taylor wanted a different kind of relationship.

Mitchell told the police that he was trying to distance himself from Taylor, and Taylor once posted a photo of Mitchell on Facebook with the caption “Bloomfield gay football player.” Though the photo was taken down, Mitchell told authorities that Taylor had threatened to repost it, if Mitchell tried to disassociate himself again.

On the fateful Thursday, Taylor texted Mitchell, allegedly telling the teen that he was coming over and it “wasn’t going to end well.”

The teen felt threatened and armed himself with a knife. He allegedly stabbed Taylor after the 27-year-old punched him in the face. Police say Taylor tried to run away, but Mitchell chased him down and delivered the fatal stabbings. After police responded, Taylor was rushed to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Mitchell is being had on a $1 million bond. If the relationship started two years ago when the teen was a minor that means he was being molested regardless if he was consenting or not.

Where were the parents while this inappropriate relationship was going on?
