4 Killed, Many Injured By Ondo State Deputy Governor’s Convoy
The accident
reportedly killed four persons including a teenager traveling with a
traditional ruler. A white Toyota Camry conveying a traditional ruler,
the Osomakinde of Ife Tuntun in Osun State, Oba Taofik Olaposi was
traveling from Osun state to Akure when it was caught in the over
speeding convoy of the deputy governor.

The Governor who spoke at the Main Auditorium of the Nigeria Law School, Victoria Island at the launch of the book titled: “Civil Litigation-A Quick Reference Guide to Substantive Law and Procedure”, added that it was only through legal scholarship that reported cases of conflicting judgments such as those highlighted by the book reviewer, Professor Yemi Osinbajo could be prevented.

Soldiers Bombard Ondo Hospital, Attack Workers
According to report, the soldiers allegedly invaded the hospital because the management rejected the corpse of one of their colleagues who lost his life at a peace keeping mission in one of the Northern states. The corpse was brought on Tuesday night with the intention of depositing it in the hospital's morgue but the hospital management said the mortuary was already congested and there was no more space to keep the corpse.
