Minister of Works is seriously at work, wants feedback from you.

A statement from the Minister of Works,
Mike Onolememem.
Oftentimes, been in a position of authority comes with its own set of challenges. A good example is the bureaucracy that shields leaders from realities on ground. Most times, a minister’s aide(s) might not be his best means of touching base. Hearing directly from the people, without exposing oneself to unnecessary distractions, is the sure way to see and feel what is going on.

Men of the Nigeria Police Force were caught unawares on Monday when a gang of heavily armed gun men in their early 30s invaded the police station and disarmed them of their weapons in broad day light.
One policemen confessed:
“I was more or less to go in and check some detainees when I heard gunshots. I rushed out to be face-to-face with bandits in flowing caftans, and some in tattered army uniforms, shooting into the air and ordering us to come out and sleep on the road.

“They then started throwing explosives into the police station. The ground was seriously shaking.
"They later moved to the bank (about 100 metres away) and started shooting and throwing explosives. Some of the robbers were standing over us, while the rest were at the bank.

GOLDIE: We didn’t take you seriously. We apologise. (Tribute to Goldie by: SAMUEL OLATUNJI)

It was a hot, Sunday afternoon when the BBM request beeped on my phone. I was totally engaged with the English Premiership football match showing on my TV. Not in the mood for any chit-chat. Checking out the identity of the sender showed me a ‘Goldie Harvey’ and my first impulse was I was face-to-face with another impersonator trying to take the place of one of Nigeria’s many hardworking entertainment celebrities.
