President Jonathan didn't particularly give reasonsfor the mass sack that happened today but there are speculations in some quarters that it was politically motivated. Shhhhh, you didn't read this here but I heard that the nine ministers sacked today were nominated by the Governors that deflected to the new PDP aka Atiku's PDP. I guess the old PDP wan show say power pass power. Lol. Nigerian politicians. Nine PDP govs voted for Amaechi – Lamido

Jigawa Sate Governor, Alhaji Sule Lamido, on Tuesday said nine Peoples Democratic Party governors voted for the incumbent chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum, Mr. Rotimi Amaechi, at the June 4 election that later divided the forum.

Lamido gave a specific insight into what happened during the NGF election while speaking in an interview with the Hausa Service of the Voice of America monitored in Abuja, on Tuesday

Speaking specifically about the election of Ameachi as Chairman, NGF, Lamido said,

“I also voted for Ameachi. Look, in the PDP, myself, the governor of Kano, the governor of Niger, the governor of Kebbi, the governor of Sokoto, the governor of Kwara, the governor of Rivers, the governor of Adamawa, nine of us PDP governors voted for him.

Nine Nigerians Arrested For Fraud In Malaysia

Police in Malaysia have arrested nine Nigerians suspected of having cheated a beautician of an estimated $427,000, Borneo Post online has reported.

According to Commercial Crime Investigation Department head Supt Mohd Firdaus Abdullah, all suspects stationed at the country’s capital were arrested last Wednesday, after two local suspects in Kuching were released on bail following an interrogation.

“We traced these foreigners through the Internet Protocol Address provided by one of the local suspects,” he said when contacted yesterday.
