FG grounds chartered aircraft of Governor Rotimi Amaechi of Rivers State
The Nigerian Airspace Management Agency on Sunday grounded the chartered aircraft of Governor Rotimi Amaechi of Rivers State.
The aircraft was allegedly grounded in Kano State when Amaechi paid a condolence visit to Governor Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso.
An online news medium, TheCable, reports that the state Commissioner for Home Affairs, Aminu Abdulsalam Gwarzo, told sympathisers who came to condole with Kwankwaso over the death of the late Emir of Kano, Alhaji Ado Bayero, at the Government House, Kano, that the aircraft was grounded by officials of the Nigerian Airspace Management Agency on “orders from above.”

Apologies to Azazi
As the security question in the country is gradually, if not completely, turning to a complete puzzle, which will take a lot more than the normal requirements to unravel, it is further aggravated by a myriad of confusing unfolding of events, criss-crossing of opinions and viewpoints from supposed experts and consultants on security, avalanche of media festering, and of course spinning and counter-spinning of moves. Behind all these drama and activities, more and more lives are being savagely and avoidably cut short, more lands are being crippled and turned in to wastelands of blood and despair, and the cycle continues with no foreseeable end in sight. No one is talking here of the economies of such places which will take only God knows how long to resuscitate.

No Wonder "Rere" dey "Run" By Pius Adesanmi
At the centre of the living room, some distance away from all the foreign intelligence and spiritual protectors of the President, the usual suspects gather, wearing gloomy faces: President Goodluck Jonathan, Chief Tony Anenih, Baba Iyabo, Ayo Oritsejafor, Mohammed Adoke, Doyin Okupe, Reuben Abati, and other inconsequential AGIPs. Nobody is talking. Soft music oozes from a central entertainment system. An old school Yoruba tune probably supplied by Doyin Okupe and Reuben Abati:

Russia's UN envoy sure US secret services wiretapping his phone, office
"I am sure they do", - he answered the corresponding question of the First Channel journalist of "Sunday time" program.
"However, I presume that I am always wiretapped and bugged as an official person. We got the "cold war", that is it does not influence me somehow," the Russian UN envoy said.
"I have no doubts that my cell phone is wiretapped - it is obvious and I always have to keep it in mind. Of course, we have secret offices, where I can discuss some issues with my colleagues in confidence. But even if these rooms are not eavesdropped, I always have to assume that I am."

Africa and Europe: Before The Next Holocaust (Part 1)
One hopes that Europe and in fact the entire world is reflecting upon the rise of the far right political parties in recent European and country (national) elections. The trend is growing and the discussions about it are not getting the full attention.
Europe today moves precariously near those points and factors that led to the Second World War. There are serious and significant traces of similar circumstances today as what led to the eventual holocaust that characterised the war. The Jews were the biggest casualties of the Second World War. We know that the previous holocaust through the slave trade that took place in Africa tore the continent apart and this sad historical occurrence has been largely undermined and underreported. No repatriations have been officially paid. The plights of Africans in the hands of the Nazis were also covered up.

Photo: Baby allegedly dies in church after dedication
"The story is about a couple who attends a church around the IPO axis in Lagos. The name of the Church is (name withheld) opposite the MTN mast in Baruwa around Ipaja area of Lagos State. The Pastor whose name is (name withheld) dedicated a baby on sunday 1st June, 2014 and the baby (pictured above) died right there in the church.
It was an unusual thing to have seen a pastor dedicating a baby without carrying the baby on his hand. What the Pastor did was to sprinkle oil and he prayed without even touching the baby. When someone who was invited by the couple, Godwin and Amaka Mark asked them why the pastor wasn't carrying the baby, they stated that it was a norm in that church for babies to be dedicated in that manner. Soon after the benediction, the Pastor disappeared from the church and when the parents of the dead baby realized that their child was no more breathing, they called the pastor on his mobile phone.
