Dad Cheng Yuanchao, 70, abandoned his son after losing his home and going to live with his daughters.
‘I have no home of my own now and nowhere to house my son. This is the best I can do. I visit him three times a day with food and water so he is never hungry of thirsty.

Things are presently not okay with popular Fuji artiste, Remi Aluko as he is now seriously battling with partial blindness that has befallen him.
As we were told by sources within the industry, the artiste is enveloped in the predicament due to an alleged torture he received from the police sometimes ago when he was in their custody.  Recall that the fuji act was arrested sometimes ago for allegedly being in possession of a stolen BlackBerry phone taken from a murdered person.  He was then arrested by the police when the phone was traced to him. He then told the police that he didn't steal the mobile phone as alleged, but the phone was given to him as a gift by a fan.

It was said that during the alleged torture at the police station, one of his interrogators allegedly smashed a gun on his face which affected his eyes. This has now led to him be using dark goggles.

We gathered that Remi Aluko has spent a fortune to correct the eye defect all to no avail.

Soldiers killed my blind father – Woman

My husband still missing –Victim
From TIMOTHY OLA, Maiduguri
The early morning wintry weather last Monday gave no inkling that tragedy loomed in the restive city of Maiduguri. As usual, a few residents, including university students and staff of the adjoining teaching hospital (UMTH) were already on the Lagos Street, the major road that leads to the two federal institutions. It was few minutes past 7 O’clock and the earlier cloudiness suddenly dissolved into a sunny morning in the Sahel Sahara and then, a loud, deafening sound.

“Wayo Allah!” (Oh, my God!) exclaimed little Amina, a primary school pupil, who appeared terrified and confused as she stood in the middle of the road around the popular Lagos House. Hell was let loose as residents ran helter-skelter, while motorists made U-turn or drove like bats out of hell, suggesting that all was not well with Yelwa, the city now known more for woes than reprieve in recent time.
