Colourful Photos - 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics Opening Ceremony: let the Games begin
The XXII Olympic Winter Games are oficially opened in Sochi on Friday, February 7. The opening ceremony started exactly at 20:14 at Sochi's Fisht Stadium (16:14 GMT). The Olympic flag with five rings symbolising the unity of athletes around the world is solemnly hoisted and the Olympic flame is lit.

Terrible Winter Storm About To hit U.S
Hurricane Sandy, the storm bearing down on the US east coast, strengthened on Monday after hundreds of thousands moved to higher ground, public transport shut down and the US stock market suffered its first weather-related closure in 27 years.
