UN Claims Benue, Akwa Ibom, Anambra,Tops HIV/AIDS Chat In Nigeria [See Data]



According to the United Nations, this analysis shows the rate of HIV/AIDS broken down by states and zones in Nigeria. Benue states leads with 12.7% population of the state with the highest HIV infection , while Kebbi state is the lowest with 1.2%

Rooney tops List Of Richest Premier League Players (SEE LIST)



Manchester United and England striker Wayne Rooney is the richest player in the Premier League with a fortune estimated at 51 million pounds ($79.01 million), according to the Sunday Times newspaper's sporting rich list.
Twenty-four Premier League players are among the top 100 richest sportsmen in Britain and Ireland.

Rooney's fortune has risen by six million pounds from 2012 and his combined wealth with wife Coleen is estimated at 64 million pounds.

Eko 2012: Delta State Tops Medal Table.



As the 2012 edition of Nigeria’s annual National Sports Festival which is presently holding in Lagos State tagged: ‘Eko 2012′ rages on, the National Sports Commission has released the performance update on the medals table with Delta State topping the list in the number of gold, silver as well as bronze medals obtained so far. The result table also indicates that Rivers State is second place and Lagos the host state is coming third position, followed by Edo State. According to the release, a total of 705 medals have been won as at December 5, 2012 which comprises 204 gold, 204 silver and 297 bronze medals. The closing ceremony of the events is expected to hold at the main bowl of the Teslim Balogun Stadium in Lagos on Sunday December 9, 2012. Detail listing of the medals won are as stated hereunder:

Flood Sacks Mortuary: Attendants Pile Corpses On Roof Tops





THE  flood that  caused havoc across the country has sacked the General Hospital, Patani in Patani Local Government Area of Delta State, forcing officials to stack corpses  evacuated from the morgue on an emergency platform that had been inventively constructed  between the ceiling and roof of the endangered health institution.


Delta State Commissioner for Health, Dr. Joseph Otumara, confirmed, yesterday, that several other government hospitals were affected by the  flood, including the one in Patani, but said he had not received
