Minsk Protocol Implies Adoption of Law on Special Status of Donetsk, Luhansk Regions

Protocol on the results of consultations of the Trilateral Contact Group, signed in Minsk on Friday and published on OSCE website, entails adoption by Ukraine of a law on special status of eastern regions of Luhansk and Donetsk. “To decentralize power, including through the adoption by Ukraine of law "On provisional procedure for local government in parts of Donetsk and Luhansk regions" (law on special status),” says one of the provisions of the document.
