Ogun police arrest serial car thieves, recover 20 vehicles




The Ogun State Police Command recorded a breakthrough when it  arrested three members of a syndicate of serial car thieves who had 20 allegedly stolen cars in their possession. They were said to have stolen the cars with master keys.


The Anti-robbery team attached to Agbado Division recorded this feat at Itoki in Ifo Local Government area of the state. The command’s spokesman, Mr. Muyiwa Adejobi, said the team was on routine patrol within the area and came across a Volkswagen car abandoned in a suspicious manner at Itoki area.

Police Recover Pasuma's Range Rover Jeep



The police have recovered Pasuma's stolen Range rover jeep. 
The fuji Musician was robbed of his vehicle and other valuables on monday night at meiran, Lagos-Abeokuta expressway by armed bandits.

It took the joint effort of the police and OPC men to recover the metallic coloured Range rover SUV jeep, with registration number, MUS 830 AP.  Meanwhile, Fellow musicians and prominent politicians in Lagos have been calling Pasuma on the phone to sympathise with him since the incident occurred. Bayelsa Police Killings : Police Recover 11 Bodies



Emotions ran high, yesterday, at the Federal Medical Centre, Yenagoa Bayelsa State, as the remains of 11 out of the 12 policemen killed last Friday were deposited at the hospital’s morgue.

Some of the recovered bodies were reportedly burnt and mutilated by their killers who also stripped them of their uniforms and rifles during the attack.
The combined team of soldiers drawn from the Joint Task Force, JTF, and operatives of the Nigeria Police, yesterday, recovered the burnt and decomposed bodies of the slain policemen along the creeks of Southern Ijaw Local Government Area of the state.

Photo: Lagos Bride To Be Is Hit By Vehicle And Killed When Trying To Recover Her Purse From Thief



A young lady identified as Bukola Adelowo, met her untimely death on Friday in Lagos as she was killed by a fast moving vehicle when she attempted to recover her bag snatched by a suspected thief – the suspect also met his waterloo as he was knocked down by another car which killed him.Information Nigeria gathered that the incident occurred at about 7 a.m., on the busy Adeniji Adele-Oworosoki Expressway on the Lagos Island.
The suspect allegedly snatched the lady’s bag and ran across the six-lane expressway.
“The lady ran after him to recover her bag without being mindful of the vehicles on the road. The suspect and the lady were killed by two different vehicles.
