CAN Re-elects Oritsejafor As President



The National Assembly of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) on Wednesday in Abuja re-elected Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor as President of the association for another three years.
Oritsejafor was re-elected at the 9th session of the CAN National Assembly held at the National Christian Centre, Abuja.
The assembly also elected Mr Olasupo Ayokunle as the new Deputy National President to replace the Most Rev. Daniel Okoh.The major blocs that make up CAN were represented at the 9th session of the assembly that re-elected Oritsejafor.He was first elected into the position in May 2010.

Primate Elijah Ayodele Seeks Presidential Attention… Attacks Pastor Oritsejafor



The popular seer and self acclaimed man of God, Primate Elijah Ayodele, is a known name in Nigeria. He gained relevance through his numerous predictions with a vast majority of such predictions coming to pass.

But recently, the man behind the Inri Foundation, a humanitarian organization poised to take care of the needs of those in need, has lampooned the governance of the apex Christian body, Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN led by Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor. In his predictions for this season, he said Oritsejafor lacks style as CAN leader.

Hear him, “CAN has not been playing its role as an umbrella Christian body. The leadership of CAN has turned the body to a kind of political party through which they play politics and solicit from government. The current leadership of CAN lacks vision, they lack Focus.”

PFN Gets New President As Oritsejafor Bows Out After 3 Years



The Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) has a new president. He is Rev. Felix Omobude.
Omobude’s was announced as the successor to Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor, the President of Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), on Friday at the end of the PFN’s 12th National Biennial Conference held in Uyo, Akwa Ibom state.
Oritsejafor, who held the position for three years, appealed to members of the pentecostal body to give Omobude the maximum support to enable him succeed to  “shepherd the flock’’.
The outgoing PFN president urged the church leaders to expunge corruption from the church to keep the church pure.
Prior to his elevation, Omobude was the General Superintendent of New Covenant Church in Benin City, Edo.

Pastor Oritsejafor Gets Private Jet As Birthday Gift From Church Members




The President of Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor, has now joined the elite league of Nigerian clergies, who own a private jet.

This was affirmed on Saturday as members of The Word of Life Bible Church, in Ajamimogha, Warri, Delta state, presented the Pastor with a private jet as his birthday gift.

The leader of Christian community in Nigeria, who is fondly called Papa Ayo, was celebrating his birthday and his 40th anniversary on the pulpit, when he was presented the gift.

Present amongst the congregation to felicitate with the Pastor was President Goodluck Jonathan.
The ceremony kicked off immediately with the entrance of the President with the singing of the national anthem.
