Goodluck Insulted Muslims By Going To Jerusalem On Pilgrimage (Opinion By Sheikh Gumi)

By Sheikh Gumi
I am not a keen political commentator probably because my brain also filters information through the prism of religion, but I definitely now believe that Mr. Jonathan is neither a politician nor does he mean well for other Nigerians.

'Dame Patience, our president’s darling wife' - an opinion By Reuben Abati In 2010 (Must Read)

Culled from Sahara REporters

I am sure you all know that before Reuben Abati became President Jonathan's Special Adviser on Media and Publicity in 2011, he was a newspaper columnist and the chairman of the editorial board of the Guardian Newspaper (2001 to 2011). Well, here's a 2010 article he wrote about the wife of his current boss...Dame Patience Jonathan, before his appointment. Very interesting read.
Democracy is readily associated with freedom: the freedom to be free in many respects and increasingly in Nigeria, many of our compatriots, particularly persons in positions of privilege and authority confuse this with the right to be disagreeable. The sober truth is that democracy is about rights and responsibilities, a democratic dispensation therefore cannot be a licence for disagreeable conduct as a norm; just as the possession of power in any form does not guarantee the right to be reckless or to ignore the etiquette required of office holders. Anyone in the corridors of power, either by chance or right, or appointment, is expected to behave decorously.
Dame Patience Jonathan, as she is now referred to, our President’s wife, failed the test this week in Okrika, Rivers State.

Boko Haram Solution: Opinion By Balogun Adesina

Unedited From Ọmọ Oódua Reader: Facebook Profile
To solve this problem. Boarders should be secured 24/7 surveillance around the boarders. First thing first. Shipment coming into Nigeria should be searched or scanned. Mighty Scans should be in place. Let them put surveillance camera everywhere in the country to track people. Even the worst place. They should stop using old models. Trace any transfer of funds more than 2,000,000 Naira. . Also, let everyone in the country register their home. ( Lagos about to start). Also the issue of identity and Immigration laws should be in place. Employ the best brains in the IT industry to capture, save and process data. Let access to data be available to TOP officials and the police. Reform the way we police the people.
Maritime reform will create loads of job Both permanent and indirect jobs.  Education too. Education Reform!!! Education reform is not by building more universities or federal uni. The Government is just tooo stupid and useless.. They are not using their brain at all. Why will you let america be helping you fight Boko Haram. OMG! If you trace it very well you will know. Nigerian are smarter than this..

This government is just use-less.

Please open your senses..

Idea: Rape has a purpose

Is there any greater demonstration that rape is about power and domination and not about sex than the gang-rapes that we are now openly discussing?
The same small part of me that still wants to believe in faeries wanted to think that I could avoid thinking or writing about rape for at least a few weeks. But, it’s impossible. Not with laws in California that say single women can’t, in effect, be raped and when the night-long gang-rape of a 16-year-old unconscious girl “divides” a community dedicated to its football team. Definitely not when ongoing details about the death of a 23-year-old in Delhi, whose rape to the point of disembowelment and multiple organ failure, are spurring protests all over the world.
