Pro-Jonathan Group Warns Against Desecrating President’s Office In The Name Of Politics

A pro-Jonathan group, the Transformation Ambassadors of Nigeria (TAN), has cautioned opponents of President Goodluck Jonathan against disrespecting the nation’s top office in the name of politics.

Co-ordinator of the legal department of the group, Mr Nureni Otutu, stated this in Ilorin, the Kwara state capital yesterday.
He said:  “it is only in Nigeria that an individual or group of individuals will hurl insults on the person of the President. Yes there is freedom of speech, this freedom should be exercised with decorum, decency and respect”.

Asari-Dokubo's Group Warns Northerners To Vacate The South

The Mujahid Dokubo-Asari-led Niger Delta Peoples Salvation Front, NDPSF has warned Northerners living in the South to leave the region.

This is coming on the heels of a 2-week ultimatum given by a group of Northern youthsunder the aegis of Arewa Youth Development Foundation (AYDF), to Southerners currently living in the North, to relocate to their respective states.

According to National Mirror report, the Asari-led group who said the southerners are not slaves to the north, called for a ‘Republic of Niger Delta’.
