Former Governor of Lagos State, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu's Son, Oluwaseyi Tinubu has been called to bar. Oluwaseyi Tinubu sometimes appears in the picture above together with his dad, and Senator Oluremi Tinubu, at the call To The Nigerian Bar Ceremony, at the Global Convention Centre in Abuja. A social gathering was also held for him at Transcorp Hilton Hotel in Abuja on the 29th of December, 2013. More pictures after the break.

Nigerian Police bar youths from checking Amaechi's projects

Scores of youths attending an event organised by the Rotary Club with the Rivers State Governor, Mr. Rotimi Amaechi, were on Friday barred by policemen from inspecting some state projects in Port Harcourt.

The youths, who were about 600 in number, were said to be waiting for Government House buses to convey them from the Rivers State University of Science and Technology to some of the project sites before armed policemen stormed the place and stopped them from embarking on the planned inspection.

The students were from 11 states of the federation.

Policeman Kills Colleague At A Bar In Ondo

A policeman in Ondo state has shot dead his close friend and colleague over a beer parlour argument.

Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Kazeem Shehu, attached to the Ajagba Divisional Police Station in Ajagba town, Irele Local Government Area of Ondo State eyewitnesses say shot his friend, a policeman attached to Yaba Divisional Police Station after an argument ensued between the two at a relaxation centre at Ejankole Street in Okerowo area, Ondo town at the weekend. The argument became hot, but all effort by others at the relaxation centre to call them to order was rebuffed.
