Tinubu, Akande Visit Buhari In Kaduna



Former governor of Lagos State, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, alongside former interim national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Chief Bisi Akande and national publicity secretary of the party, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, yesterday visited former military head of state, General Muhammadu Buhari in his Sultan close residence in Kaduna, to commiserate with him over the recent suicide bomb attack that was targeted at him.

Former military Head of State, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (retd.); Rivers State Governor Rotimi Amaechi; a former Osun State Governor and Interim Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Bisi Akande; and a former Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Mallam Nasir el-Rufai, have accused President Goodluck Jonathan of being after their lives.

In separate interviews with our source on Saturday, they accused the President of having their names on a sniper list.

Why Professor Jega Must Go ––Buhari, Akande, Tinubu



Police barricade on their way and the sun blazing above, All Progressives Congress (APC) leaders marched on the headquarters of the Independent National Electoral Commission in Abuja on Thursday.

Leading the way were former Head of State Muhammadu Buhari, APC Chairman Chief Bisi Akande, former Lagos State Governor Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, defunct All Nigeria Peoples Party (ANPP) former chairman Chief Ogbonnaya Onu and many others.

Guber poll: Tinubu, Akande head to Anambra for Ngige



The National leader of All Progressive Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is expected to lead the interim National Chairman of the party, Chief Bisi Akande, to Anambra on Tuesday.

They will attend Sen. Chris Ngige’s Governorship flag-off at the Holy Trinity field in the commercial city of Onitsha.

GEJ replies APC interim Chairman** Respect your age, Pres. Jonathan Tells Akande



President Goodluck Jonathan on Sunday told the interim Chairman of the newly-registered All Progressives Congress, Chief Bisi Akande, to respect his age.   The President's  admonition was in reaction to Akande's description of Jonathan being an unserious-minded person  managing a kindergarten  government. lol.

In a statement by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Dr. Reuben Abati, the President said it was “certainly rude, ill-mannered, uncharitable and hypocritical” for Akande to describe him on Saturday  in such an uncharitable manner.

Jonathan’s an unserious president — Akande



The interim National Chairman, All Progressive Congress, Chief Bisi Akande, has described President Goodluck Jonathan as an unserious-minded person, who is running a kindergarten presidency.
Akande, who spoke in his Ila-Orangun country home during an interactive session with journalists to mark the Eid-el-Fitri festival, on Saturday, said APC would defeat the Peoples Democratic Party in 2015 presidential election.
